If Chucky gets this excited about a Β£5m a year increase in Spurs shirt sponsorship imagine how excited he will get if Spurs were to win a trophy.?

25th July 2019 at 3:08 pm #43931I believe Morata @ least won a trophy,am I wrong? And Lukaku cost Β£75m.What a waste of well over Β£130m!
9-Imagine signing a DD in todays market and for Β£24m??? Just reading that Janssen has left the mighty Spuds to play in………………. Mexico, that Spanish striker who Arse signed for Β£17m and then sold to WHU,gone back to Spain for Β£2m.Hundreds of millions of £££ are just being throw away,madness!!_____________________________

25th July 2019 at 3:23 pm #43934Mav, Torres was injured at Liverpool and never really recovered from that imo but he scored in the CL Semi Final in the Nou Camp that made certain of Chelsea’s 2nd CL Final and was responsible for the corner from which Drogba scored the equaliser in Chelsea winning the CL Final, and he scored in the 2-1 EL Final win over Benfica so despite some of the problems he was money well spent imo.
Indeed what would DD be worth in today’s market?
Morata did get a FA Cup Winners Medal although in the Final he was only a late sub. Tbh I think Morata is a good player but just not suitable for the physicallity of the PL.
On the transfer front Arsenal have completed the loan signing of midfielder Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid, with the 22-year-old moving to London for the 2019-20 season.
Good signing imo.
If only he could play Centre Back or full back.?

25th July 2019 at 3:31 pm #43935Thatβs it nine. Do arsenal need someone like him? Heβs an advanced midfielder and Γzil and mykthern play there
Tierney would be an excellent signing and 25 m for him is peanuts in todayβs market.
Super engine on him. Very good going forward and can defend.

25th July 2019 at 4:19 pm #43936Wasplicker-Where have you been for the past few months, babe? Arse have been desperate to get rid of Ozil, and Mikhi is such a waste of space & time its unbelievable he is still playing in the PL!

25th July 2019 at 4:19 pm #43937Utd still at least 3 or players away from the current top 4 IMO. Decent performance though against Spurs today.
Incredible stat time. All Utd’s nine goals in preseason have been either scored or assisted by an academy player. Quite rare in the modern game I’d say.

25th July 2019 at 4:46 pm #43939Whose going to take Ozil though given his indifferent form and his Β£350k pw wages.
Very tough to move him on.
Arsenal desperately need defenders they seem focussed on filling the wrong positions is that the Club or Emery?

25th July 2019 at 10:46 pm #43942Brilliant Mav shame to see Everton leave Goodison it’s a grand old Stadium but that’s progress.
Everton have a very rich owner and he will seemingly part fund it and Everton allegedly already have a naming partner for the Stadium.
Everton will be a threat going forwards imo.
