18th July 2019 at 6:04 pm #43612You’re not wrong Nine regarding big clubs and loan signings, especially Mbappe! Disgrace of a rule bend if ever I seen one!
Ceballos was heavily linked with Liverpool last season, I’m interested to see how he does.
Fekir, he of even stronger previous Liverpool links and the one to bring home the Holy Grail even though most fans have never seen him play, is about to join Betis it seems. No offence to Betis, but I’m guessing his stock has fallen somewhat? This will leave Lo Celso free to join Spurs.
Don’t think there will be much if any action at Anfield, but maybe the big transfer circus will kick off soon. Also think Spurs will still have a few more in and in particular out, Alderweireld? Rose? Erikson? Kane? Ok just kidding about Kane…

19th July 2019 at 12:02 pm #43627Small club with money ?, sadly Sean I think all the money they have spent has made them a big club. Itβs just what sport has become these days mate, itβs all about the money. Can you imagine 15 years ago a top player saying city was their βdream moveβ. All they give a toss about is money these days & itβs nothing more than a job, hence the reason I donβt get overly involved any more.
I must say I canβt stand city either, they are like the rich kid at school thatβs parents bought everything & made them spoilt brats that think itβs ok to belittle others. Adlab trying to compare anyoneβs spending with city is quite comical._____________________________

19th July 2019 at 12:58 pm #43629i dont get it to be honest, so City were OK when they were badly owned/run for decades, living in a vast and nasty red shadow but still getting great support in any division, they get lucky like Chelsea did and others would love but they dont JUST spunk cash and buy a trophy, no, they build an unreal infrastructure and improve the local comunity, they win things and have the best manager that again just about any club would love to have….they did all of this of course by spending vast sums of money…boohooo
united did this for 2 decades before then chelsea did worse in their spell and then city did it, you know wh people feel as they do? Jealousy, pure and simple the unfairness
maybe it isnt fair but it is very much life and its being going on for decades its not a new phenomina
now the fans are nasty? i doubt they have any worse or more of the fans that are actually bad as any other club
fans players owners of all clubs have at some point let their club down in bad ways none are blameless
and city fans are not allowed to voice opinions and defend their club and fans? seems to be some double standards on here to my mind
im an Arsenal fan as im sure you all know by now, we have the worse owner (billionaire in name only) we are poorly run and struggling thats down to us in whatever way, its not Citys fault or chelsea or the currently gifted liverpool or the much better un spuds, it goes around it comes around, some are lucky, some are just good even for just one season and some are run of the mill make up the numbers will never win a bean clubs
some of you lads need some perspective!

19th July 2019 at 1:35 pm #43631Whatever Manchester City may be now they’ve never been a “small Club” imo despite the difficulties of living in United’s shadow for so many years.
Even when City were playing in the third tier of English football in the late 90’s after twice being relegated in three years City were drawing home crowds of 30,000 to Maine Road and had great away support.
And the City League title winning team of Bell, Young and Summerbee were a joy to watch in the late 60’s.

19th July 2019 at 1:55 pm #43633Conte repeating his Chelsea woes?
Great Coach but this always seems to be his Achilees heel it happened at Juve and Chelsea and it’s beginning to happen already at Inter.
“Antonio Conte is already unhappy with Inter Milan over the time it is taking for them to sign Romelu Lukaku.
The Manchester United striker has been identified as Conteβs top target at his new club Inter, but despite the links stretching back all summer, the Italian side are yet to present an acceptable offer.
Their latest bid is said to be worth Β£60m plus bonuses, but it is still some way short of the Β£79m+ sum that United want to recoup after they paid the same price to Everton two years ago.
Inter have now started their pre-season tour of Asia without Lukaku, while star striker Mauro Icardi has not travelled with the squad after Conte insisted he was not part of his plans.
According to the Mirror, the former Chelsea boss is growing increasingly frustrated at the Inter hierarchy for their failure to have Lukaku available in time β a scenario all too familiar to the manager from his Stamford Brige days, when he regularly found himself clashing with the board over transfer targets.”

19th July 2019 at 3:48 pm #43639Just lost respect for them
Steve. Nothing to do with money. Been on here many a time and praised and supported city.Used to have some good conversations with big jim about city.
You can say what you want about the players singing the songs on the plane. It turned me off them.
Adlab constant moaning about refs againest city etc turned me off them
Its the way I feel pal. Think pep is the best manager in the world. I think city are a brilliant team and fully deserved the title. Absolutely no problem with them or Chelsea spending money. Have always said that

19th July 2019 at 3:54 pm #43641Buffy-I really want to see United given a transfer ban for the next 10 years, with the club only being allowed to sign players worth up to Β£15m.

19th July 2019 at 4:37 pm #43643A couple of people on a forum have turned you against a whole football club? Bit bizarre that don’t you think? A new aged fan on a forum does not represent a football club and its supporters.
