Wasplicker-There is money everywhere mate, like Mikus said it on his post.Juve can indeed afford Pogba for £150m,but because thay have signed Rabiot & Ramsey to play regular football and not sit on the bench, they have to let players go if they want to accomodate Pogba as well, players like Matuidi,Khedira,Quadrado,Mandzukic, etc.Even Inter Milan are/were linked with the likes of Pogba & Griezmann,b4 his move to Barca. Its just that it appears as Pogba has set his mind/heart on a move to Real.

13th July 2019 at 8:45 pm #43333I’m almost glad we’re out of the transfer market this Summer.? 9-It might prove to be a blessing in disguise and give a chance the youth to progress.

13th July 2019 at 9:06 pm #43334I don’t think any of the top Italian Clubs are in a position to buy Pogba or even Lukaku look at the deal Inter proposed for Lukaku which seems to confirm that.
Maybe if Juve threw in players like Dybala they could get there assuming United wanted them and the player was happy to move to United.
I think the same applies to Real too they would have to sell big to be able to buy Pogba.
Also the fact remains no matter what the fans may think of both players Ole doesn’t seem to want to really sell either of them hence the alleged high prices.

13th July 2019 at 9:08 pm #43335Mav, I think it might too especially with Jody Morris and Joe Edwards being part of the Coaching team too now. Nobody knows the young players as well as them.

13th July 2019 at 9:50 pm #43337Icardi seemingly on his way, paving the way for Lukaku? Utd might not win a trophy this season but if we make hefty profits on Lukaku and Pogba, we should be awarded some sort of prize!

14th July 2019 at 12:43 am #433389-Juve will have spend £100m already if they sign De Ligt,so they have plenty of money! Inter are awaiting to get rid of Icardi before they can sign Lukaku, and they too have spent over £75m already!AC Milan are spending left, right, and centre too,and as for Real Madrid, they surely just have to move players on because they have so many and there is no room for all of them.

14th July 2019 at 12:58 am #43340Actually,9,one of my colleagues is a fanatical Juventus fan and told me recently that Juve can and will go as high as £130m for Pogba without having to sell first, but because they have already signed R & R to play regular football, they will have to move the likes of Khedira,Matuidi and Pjanic on.They just offered €80m to Real Madrid for Isco.

14th July 2019 at 7:19 am #43341Mav, if Juve can affort go to £130m? for Pogba will United sell them a player they seemingly don’t want to lose at £20m below their valuation and given the midfielders Juve have already signed buying further midfield players for exorbitant fees seems an odd strategy and if they really thought they could get Pogba for £130m and they had the resources why would they bid £80m for Isco as you suggest?
According to all the reports I’ve read the De Ligt fee is substantially below the £100m you suggest which would make him marginally more expensive than Ronaldo.
Icardi is a problem player who United have seemingly quite rightly turned down as a part exchange deal for Lukaku and despite Icardi’s goals he won’t be an easy player to move on but move on he will possibly on loan somewhere because Conte recognising the problems he brings to a Club doesn’t want anything to do with him and he’s been banished from first team training.
AC Milan’s wings have been clipped on transfer spending for breaking FFP rules twice and they are now serving a one year European ban on the understanding they get their finances in order.

14th July 2019 at 9:16 am #43342Nine, What young players do you think will get a chance at Chelsea this season?
Chelsea still have a very good squad at the minute. I can’t see many breaking through but Abraham has the best chance imo. He deserved a chance now.
Mount is to slow and there’s a huge difference between the pl and championship. The lad that played at derby ,centre back looks a good player
I just don’t think we will as many youngsters come through this season as some Chelsea fans are expecting.
It’s going to be very interesting

14th July 2019 at 9:25 am #43343Frank Lampard was also slow but you don’t have to be fast to make it, some players do have to be as that is their source asset but not all.

14th July 2019 at 10:49 am #433459-Juve have signed Romero,Demiral and are reported to having offered £75m for De Ligt, which if completed would take their spending to way past £100m mark.As for Pogba & United, well the player simply doesnt want to stay any longer,as simple as that! And why would you want to keep an unhappy player if he doesnt to want to be here anymore? And who can blame him,Real Madrid or finish 6th?
As for AC Milan, because of the fact they are not in any European comps they can spend as much as they like, wee keep repeating this._____________________________

14th July 2019 at 11:09 am #43350Mav, exactly mate the money Juve have already spent plus R&R is why they won’t be able to spend big on Pogba without they make a significant sale or offer a significant player in part exchange.
I agree Pogba seemingly wants to go but that doesn’t mean United will agree to sell him that’s the reason they’ve put the alleged £150m on his head and imo they certainly won’t sell him for too much less than they think he’s worth if they sell him at all and if they do I think his most likely destination will be Real.
Milan are under a one year ban on the understanding they get their finances in order I would be amazed given that they they overspend this Summer.

14th July 2019 at 11:20 am #43351Sean, I agree there won’t be a massive inclusion of young players in the squad Christensen, RLC and CHO have already made the step up to the senior squad and the most likely this season are Mount, Tomori,Abraham with Gilmour a possible wild card. Could be a break through season for Ampadu too the lad is going to be a top top player imo. Tomori could lose out to Zouma though that’s a tough one.

14th July 2019 at 11:32 am #43354Mason will have some lows as most players do but his creativity is excellent, he is comfortable with the one touch game, his finishing is top class and his energy levels are right up there. Can’t really ask for more. Consistency is the footballers biggest enemy.

14th July 2019 at 12:45 pm #43358Blaze fair comments. I’m really going on what I’ve seen from mount with derby. He goes missing from games but he’s still young and totally agree about consistency mate.
Nine, really like amapadu. Looks like he is going to be a top player.
Be interesting to see if frank can get cho to stay
