Nine it could be an exciting front line up but looks very inexperienced to me. Think you’ll struggle to score the goals with just those 3.

16th May 2019 at 10:32 am #41012threeps, tbh mate I would like to see us build something more long term and lasting and utilise some of our own.
I don’t think we’ll challenge for the title for a while but I think we’ve got enough to challenge for a top 4 place again and we’ve got the experience of Giroud, potentially Michy and Willian and Pedro to add to those three.
Sometimes you have to throw the youngsters in and see how they do Abraham has 27 goals this season admittedly in the Championship but he has always scored consistently even at Bristol City and with better players around him I think he can make the step up.

16th May 2019 at 10:35 am #41013Sean,re Hazard no you’re right and realistically none of us know what’s really going on behind the scenes at our Clubs. I’m sure Chelsea will eventually agree a deal it’s now in everyone’s best interests to let him go and I do think he wants to leave amicably to protect his Chelsea heritage.

16th May 2019 at 10:40 am #41014Stevo, you old cynic.☺️
Whether Hazard did or didn’t down tools for two seasons and I’ve got a slightly different view to you about that he’s been an amazing player at Chelsea and one of the best I’ve ever seen gracing the Stamford Bridge pitch and I’ve seen a few. Lol!
He will leave a Chelsea legend and if we’re lucky enough to draw Real Madrid in the CL return to a heroes welcome. Cheers 999

16th May 2019 at 1:51 pm #41020Stevo, if he turns up it could be curtains mate if the transfer is all sorted I think
he might .?We’re dropping like flies currently though Rudiger, CHO, Kante and now RLC and you always beat us in Finals so there’s every hope. Oh for a Didier Drogba he scared Arsenal to death!?

16th May 2019 at 2:09 pm #41024999 he scared most team to death!! but more so us, remember though EVEN if we do turn up at its best our defense is crap, if we dont turn up then we wont be able to outscore you, its our only hope, none of our defnce can cope with Hazard on an off day let alone a good day!

16th May 2019 at 2:15 pm #41027Stevo, your attack is definitely your strength. 50/50 game if Hazard is flying in his last ever game for Chelsea that could swing it. But it’s anybody’s game imo.

16th May 2019 at 2:20 pm #41029its closer on paper than it should be and you have a few key injuries but with us there is just no confidence what team will turn up on the pitch
such fine margins it could well come down to who’s travel plans were the best given the distances involved
also how hot will it be? what about the pitch? lots of variables that come in more than it would for a more “local” european destination
no idea what is “european” any more…we wont be (or will we). Baku is? Israel is (hosting Eurovision) and now apparently Australia are also in Europe (also in the Eurovision)….mind boggles

16th May 2019 at 3:09 pm #41036Wow, imagine if Utd could get £150mil for Pogba. That would go down as one of the best bits of business we’d ever done. We’re otherwise notoriously bad at getting decent fees for players.
I just pray we stay away from the likes of Coutinho, Bale, James Rodriguez etc. Much prefer us to be going after this Swansea kid or Sessegnon at Fulham. Whether they make it or not, I’d much rather have hungry young players like those than washed up primadonnas like the type we’ve seen coming in the last few years.

16th May 2019 at 4:04 pm #41037Steady Edy-Anything close to/above to what we paid for the emoji man would represent a great deal for United,no doubt about it.Invest the money on someoone like D.Rice and that chap from Swansea.Need to invest in youth and focus on a long-term project, instead of short-term fixes.

16th May 2019 at 5:18 pm #41043£150m is a big risk for anyone to pay for Pogba imo. On his game he’s great but off his game……….?

18th May 2019 at 5:58 pm #41149The book Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football claims that Mino Raiola was entitled to £22.8 million of the £89 million fee paid by United to Juventus to sign Pogba last summer. It alleges that the agent is also due more than £16 million in further payments and an additional £2.2 million from the player, taking his total earnings from the deal to £41 million.
Beyond bonkers!
