Broader than just Sky Sean. I wouldn’t sell Zouma to United though the story eminated out of France but it’s been denied by United .

I rate Kovacic but he needs to find some consistency and he just needs a proper run of games but it’s a perfect midfield with kante sitting, Jorghino the play maker and Kovacic box to box

Still fully expect utd to get Toby and another.

Liverpool need to sell players today.

I hope to see players sold and no loan deals

Origi, Ings abd Ojo need to go

Morning nine, I was wondering if you remembered our light hearted debate about who would spend more money in this transfer window, City or Chelsea? Think you guys are ahead some what but still a few hours to go.

Jim, I do and I’m surprised City have only bought Mahrez I’m sure I tipped Chelsea to be his spenders if Hazard and Courtois left thankfully we only lost Courtois.

I did expect City to be much bigger spenders but I guess given the overall quality of the City squad it’s a difficult task to strengthen it.

Had Courtois not pushed for the move and had Jorginho chosen City over Chelsea things might have been different though.?

Chelsea have spent circa £90m net and I would be surprised if we spent much more now.

I’m very happy with what we’ve done Kovacic is a very good signing Kepa is a very exciting young Keeper and Jorginho looks made for the role and a midfield three of Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante takes some beating we won’t catch City but hopefully we will have a good go at capturing a CL place.

I think it’s going to be a very exciting PL this year and it’s a long time since a team retained the title enjoy it mate. Cheers 999

City don’t need to strengthen maybe they need cover for fernhdio but they have spent millions since pep came and have a very strong squad

No will catch city. I think pep is under pressure now to deliver the cl. City need to be winning it this season and their my favorites for it

Chelsea will probably look to balance the books by selling the likes of Baka and DrinkH2O,possibly loan the Belgian Romulan too?

Kovacic is a very talented player but its gonna take him a good few months to adapt to the rigorous demands of the EPL,so will Kepa and Jorginho,like every other player coming to the PL!

City did not require any signings apart from cover in CMF position,but Delph can play there if required,the title will be between City and Liverpool imho.

Agree entirely nine and Sean. I always thought it would be difficult to strengthen our side that’s why I didn’t think We would spend massively. We have brought in Mahrez, Mendy is alike a new signing and Foden should get more game time. You need a bit of luck in all cup competitions including the CL and I think that deserted us a bit last season. Fingers crossed for this one.
