Mav, not a bad suggestion mate it will be interesting to see how wide Chelsea cast their net personally I will be disappointed if we end up with Cech or Reina both great Keepers tbh but a bit too old now imo.

Bad management by the club imo the Courtois situstion shouldn’t have been allowed to drift as it has with no obvious successor sorted out already. Cheers 999

Mav, I was hoping both were fall back positions but seemingly if Chelsea can’t get a suitable replacement they’ll stick with Courtois this season which I would much rather than a short term back up like Cech and Reina.

Mav, agree with you re Schmeichel be happy with him.

Very suprised about Borthwick Jackson bring at Scunthorpe on a season long loan I saw him at the Bridge v Chelsea and he looked a prospect but he seems to have gone backwards.

I would have thought United could have done better for him than Scunthorpe in League 1 though? Cheers 999

9, don’t know what you’re moaning for, you could have Levy as a chairman lol.
Poch told him to be brave and take risks, so levy took him literally and went to Shabbos with his Kippah inside out.
We could be the only club to make a profit in this window, that’ll please all the Spurs faithful.

TBA, I can’t make my mind up whether this is Levy bring more prudent than usual linked to the cost of building the new Stadium of whether it’s part of Spurs usual strategy of moving late in the window.

I did read somewhere that Sours wanted Grealish but held off because of Villa’s financial problems thinking they would then pick him up on the cheap only for Villa to be taken over by rich new owners and now they don’t want to sell Grealish at all?

If Chelsea hold on to Hazard, Kante and Willian with the squad we have and Tammy and RLC returning and Jorginho already signed bar a striker and a Keeper to replace Courtois I think Chelsea are pretty well set up to try and reclaim a top 4 place.

Chucky, we find ourselves in the exact same situation every transfer window, leaving it till the last day to try and sign the leftovers.
Surely Mo has identified who he wants and then it’s down to Baldy to sign them ,instead he starts a game of chicken with the other clubs chairman and ends up with nobody.
Why can’t we just sign them when the window first opens?
If this is Levy being brave and taking risks heaven help us, I’m totally fecked off with this reoccuring issue.I wonder how the players feel when they see quality players being bought by our rivals while we dick about in the bargain basement.

Will Palace sell Zaha this late in the window? I would be surprised if they did it would severely weaken them having already lost Loftus Cheek and might well cost them their PL place if they sell him?

Allegedly Spurs tried to low ball Villa on Grealish on the back of their money troubles but now Villa have new billionaire owners and they don’t want to sell Grealish and don’t need to now to raise funds and allegedly Grealish bring a Villa fan is happy to stay?

Bricky, I’m sure Spurs will do some late business as they usually do but apart from Liverpool who have had a very good transfer window and Arsenal who seem to be buying squad players none of the top 6 teams are having great transfer windows. But that could all change in the next 7/8 days.?

Brickmeistergeneral… I hear you cyber chum, but as I’ve said before, who we gonna get? Ghoustbusters? As much as we love the Spuds, RonnyII and Messi aren’t likely to come, Bale seems to have been promoted to big-dog so he isn’t coming, who is left who would really improve our 1st 11? Lamela is hopefully back to full fitness after that lay-off, hopefully Rose too, Moura hasn’t really had a fair crack of the whip yet, I’m starting to think both Toby and Moose are staying, and as Lucy-Goosey says, most likely Grealish and Wilf coming in… along with some decent performances from the outsiders during the states (I know, don’t really mean much, but promising for the future) for once I’m not that overly worried about who else might be coming or going… still the best Spud Squid in my lifetime.
