27th July 2018 at 5:33 pm #24526I’d add Sterling to that list too Sean, at least based on his club form. He was very good last season for City

27th July 2018 at 6:16 pm #24527Ye very true ed. City spent big but they spent really well and corrected all their weak areas.
Giotto be so hard to beat them again this season
I think Chelsea could be a dark horse. Massive squad with top quality. I still think moroata canโt be wrote off yet and hazard wonโt be sold

27th July 2018 at 6:26 pm #24529Reports suggest “Chelsea are favourites for Wilfried Zaha
Chelsea are now favourites to sign Wilfried Zaha after the Crystal Palace forward posted a cryptic message on his instagram story.
The Blues are firm favourites with bookmakers Sky Bet to land the Ivorian international at 7/4.
He is evens to stay at Palace, but crucially now odds-on at 8/11 to leave his boyhood club.”
Jordan Pickford and Wilfred Zaha all in one day!?

27th July 2018 at 7:33 pm #2453227-What happened to that world-beater Bernard coming in on a free? Jokes aside,a very, very underwhelming transfer window for all the clubs bar Liverpool,City don`t need anyone @ all imho!

27th July 2018 at 7:49 pm #24533Mav, Bernard on a free would be a decent signing he can play in midfield or out wide and would be a good afdirion to the squad.
Plenty of time yet in this transfer window and there will be some big business done between now and August 9th imo

27th July 2018 at 8:05 pm #24534One off the wall from the Express!
Traders from two bookmaker giants – Paddy Power and Betfair – reported sizeable cash placed TODAY on Kane swapping Tottenham for Manchester United before the August 9 deadline.
Kane was 33/1 to join United before the start of business this morning but itโs now into 4/1 after a heap of big bets.
The move stunned insiders at the company, with a spokesman admitting there has been โtotal shockโ at the Friday market move.
Paddy Power spokesman Lee Price said: โWe are laying Harry Kane to go to Manchester United – itโs come from nowhere.
โThe bets have just kept on coming and weโve had to keep slashing and slashing the price. It seems punters canโt get enough of it.
โIt appears United really could get their man and that Kane may be heading to Old Trafford.
Can’t see it imo but some people are throwing money at it happening???

27th July 2018 at 8:45 pm #24536Iโll be absolutely astonished if that happens nine.
250m at least levy would want and it makes absolutely no sense. Will never happen

27th July 2018 at 9:47 pm #24539No chance of that and it would be a bonkers move by all parties IMO. Yes, he’s better than Lukaku but he’s not that much betterthat it would be worth splashing a quarter of a billion on him. So many more positions on the pitch we need strengthening first. I actually think Lukaku had a better WC too, if I’m honest, despite Kane getting the golden boot.

28th July 2018 at 8:43 am #24541Haha that would be funny. United buying Kane. Perhaps if they sold Lukaku? Not sure it would help the enforced style of play much?

28th July 2018 at 8:51 am #24542AnonymousNo chance of Kane going to United both he and Lukaku would expect to start every game and never known Maureen to start off with 2 out and out strikers unless they no longer fancy Lukaku.

28th July 2018 at 9:06 am #24545I don’t think even United could spend ยฃ250m on one player withiut selling someone big perhaps if they sold Lukaku to someone for ยฃ100m plus but Spurs won’t sell Kane just as they move into their new Stadium.

28th July 2018 at 9:32 am #24546But Levy is a money man first and foremost and he’s got a big overdraft on that spanking new stadium to get down. Spurs have sold their best players in the past so why not Kane? Just throwing it out there for debate.
