999 – ronaldo went for 85m and he is 3 times the player hazard is, therefore hazard is only worth 30m. probably get more good years out of ronaldo as well. whilst hazard is an incredible talent he only turns up when he wants to has gone missing for seasons at a time.

Yes Hazard will be worth 30m only when he reaches Ronaldos age in 6-7 years time added to that his skills are more enjoyable to watch than Ronaldos pace and power assets.

rover – but ronaldo is still a far superior player to hazard. and he will be for the next few years at which point hazard will start to decline. my point however was that you cant just say neymar cost 200m therefore hazard is worth more than that. its not how it works.

Player valuations are decided by the selling club and what the buying club are eventually prepared to pay it’s Chelsea’s choice as to what valuation they put on Hazard and Real’s choice as to whether they meet that valuation remembering of course Chelsea don’t want to sell him.

are they though? where are these 200m offers?
999 – obviously i dont think hazard is worth 30m, but in my opinion ronaldo is a far superior footballer who at this moment and likely the next few seasons will offer more than hazard does. he was recently sold for 85m. if you are going to compare hazard to neymar (neymar is superior by the way, just a fucking cheat) then i dont see why you cant compare hazard to ronaldo. hazard has been known to throw his toys out the pram and go missing for an entire season just because he cant be bothered. not sure you can say that about any other top players in world football. he’s also only got 2 years left on his contract. if chelsea manage to keep hold of him this season they’ve done well because hes an exceptional footballer but if he doesn’t sign a new contract there is no way they will even get 100m for him next year when hes in the last year of his contract.

Chelsea & Real agree €190m deal for Hazard
Chelsea and Real Madrid have agreed a €190 million (£170m/$222m) deal for Eden Hazard, per Le10Sport .Real are interested in securing both Hazard and Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, but the deal agreed only includes the attacker.
Hazard has scored 89 goals and provided 70 assists in 300 appearances for the Blues.Surely too low of an offer???

Paxton, I think that’s the dilemma for the club how much they might lose if they hold on to Hazard for another year versus the benefits in doing so with Hazard potentially helping to return Chelsea to the CL.
As I’ve said personally I wouldn’t sell Hazard even if Madrid reached the club’s alleged valuation of £200m but putting aside that it’s always been Hazard’s ambition to play for the club he supported as a boy and the 5 out of 6 great seasons he’s given us where I’ve been privileged to see him up close and in the flesh it’s difficult to begrudge him that and with Real there’s a certain amount of inevitability about all of this which usually ends with Madrid getting their man.
Ultimately I can perhsps see Hazard going for circa 200m Euros which would reflect the kind of price that Le10Sport have suggested in Mav’s post above.assuming Chelsea have got all their ducks in a line re replacements Chelsea fans might ultimately have to wish Hazard well.

“Real to bid £112m for Hazard but Chelsea value the 27-year-old at a minimum £200m and insist that they hope to convince him to sign a new contract.
