If he doesn’t score 30 goals will he be a failure according to our awful press

4th August 2023 at 2:03 pm #207848Two more youngsters and hopefully the Harry-gate saga sorted out by midnight… as long as Harry stays I reckon this has been one of our best transfer windows for quite some time!

4th August 2023 at 3:13 pm #207849Kane has to be let go banjo.itβs 86m in his last year. If he goes then munich have a formidable team and huge chance of cl.
He can always come back to the pl at 33 and have a go at the record.

4th August 2023 at 4:09 pm #207850A lot of me agrees with you Waspy, but I want to see my Spuds win something a lot more than I want to see Harry win something, and in an ideal world he’ll be wearing a Spud shirt win he finally gets to lift a pot or two…
Anyway, I don’t think leaving on a freebie next year and having literally a pick of any club he wants with a siging on fee and salary that would make the Abu Dhabi Sportswashing Campaign blush isn’t the worst case scenerio for him… got at least another 4 years at the top level and it’s a no brainer he’ll bet Shearer’s record… and I do think winning a pot or two in Germany won’t mean a great deal to him… stay another year, and then pick whoever he wants in the Prem to win a pot or two (can you imagine a team with him and Haaland in it???) and get the record…

4th August 2023 at 5:35 pm #207851Banjo he will not win anything at spurs mate. Letβs call a spade a spade big dog. He had a huge chance of the cl with munich. He is exactly what they are missing.
Ye no harm staying for another season I suppose as he would have his pick next season but munich are one of the biggest clubs around.
I think ange be sacked by spurs to be honest. He wonβt be given the time to implement his ideas as they take a while to gel. His teams are to open. I predict a very tough start for him

4th August 2023 at 6:07 pm #207853Waspy… going to be interesting at the Lane for sure, with or without Harry… although I think he’ll be given the time unless it’s an absolutely disastrous start (i.e. in a relegation spot at Christmas!) but as long as he’s in the Top 10 I don’t think he’ll be in much trouble at all. A lot of youngish players coming in so I think even Levy realizes a bit of a re-build going on… or maybe we’ll get a but lucky and hit a winning formula early with Super Harry up top (very doubtful, I know, what can a fan do?!? LOL!)
Buffy… we’ll see, can’t say I’ve seen much myself so I’ll have to wait until I’ve seen him kick a ball in anger…

5th August 2023 at 9:34 am #207858What’s happening with Kane?
The Friday deadline has passed so that’s it, is it?_____________________________

5th August 2023 at 11:08 am #207860Apparently there wasn’t a deadline, according to all the suddenly back-tracking sausage munchers… π
Getting a bit tired of it all, if I’m honest, shit or get off the pot!!
(Or both if your name is Buffy!)

5th August 2023 at 1:01 pm #207862Latest rumour is Liverpool wonβt go 50m for Lavia.
Absolute shambles letting hendo and fabhino go without replacements lined up.

5th August 2023 at 1:41 pm #207864It is Sean. I increasingly think Klopp will leave the club this coming season, not just over the recruitment. I just think the jig is up with the Klopp era. Reading through his end times at Dortmund, I think there are several parallels.

5th August 2023 at 5:05 pm #207868It’s either 44 or 45 with 5 mil add-ons. I’m led to believe this is a done deal now and we await a medical this coming Monday. Certain tabloids are causing a merry-go-round clearly to cause a stir. We should be good for this Sean-Mikus.
I think after this is sealed, we’re trying to bring in a center-half.

6th August 2023 at 10:42 am #207870Watching the Harry Kane saga yet AGAIN, I have come to the conclusion that Daniel Levy is an egotistical fool and does not have Spurs best interests in the forefront.
Spurs are a big club, big support and a fantastic stadium.
What have they won with Levy? Nothing
How many managers have they had? Too many.
Kane is 30 and somebody offers Β£100m. He tries to be clever and doesn’t respond and goes off on holiday.
Do you have any hair left Chucky or have you torn it out?_____________________________

6th August 2023 at 11:13 am #207872I’m with Levy on this one… we’re a better team with Harry in it and I’d be rolling the dice in the hope he’ll see some progress this season and sign a new contract. I know fans of clubs who have unlimited wealth and creative accountants to
cheatfunnel it into a club while employing 11 mercenaries on 400k a week wouldn’t understand… π_____________________________

6th August 2023 at 11:16 am #207874I think if Kloop doesn’t get CL footy this year he might seriously consider leaving… which would be a shame for the Micky Mousers for sure…
