Adlab, you’re right it could have been 5 or 6 and against a team that finished 2nd and 3rd in the last two seasons and City were without their best player in Silva as well.

And if City were to sign Sanchez and Van Dijk in January too……….?????

apart from KDB who is on another planet, thought Mangala,Gungdogan and Delph had good games. Augerr off pace a little but no denying his sffort. Fernandinho with KDB took charge of the game. Well played City and a noticable lift in the choirs performance

Just got in, what a day!! Haven’t seen it back but how did Delli stay on the field? Horrific challenge. Looked really really bad. We owned Spuds, I said the other day that if we get past spuds our next 5 are very winnable so it’s gonna be interesting to see how the next 5 pan out.

I’m still keeping grounded, Long ass way to go still.

What a day, thought we played some fantastic football. KDB was superb as was Gundogwan. Correction KDB was on another level altogether. Just watched MOTD. Alli and Kane both very fortunate to stay on the pitch. But hey ho luckily we didn’t pick up bad injuries. Spurs had some chances but essentially we blew them away. Final point, how good is Ederson??! I don’t think I have ever seen a keeper so cool on the ball and his distribution is simply amazing. This team just gets better and better.

Moos- I bed to differ. Take alderweireld and Wanyama our the team and there is nothing. Without those two we have no shape at all. We’ve been shockingly poor since they both got injured. For a team wanting regular top 4 finishes that’s completely unacceptable.

In the pub yesterday we were talking about the spuds game and the pool game. Win or not get beat in those 2 and the 5 games after each are very winnable. That’s spuds gone now, In 5 games we have Anfield!! If we get to Anfield still unbeaten then somehow get away from there with L=0 then I’m gonna start believing guys. We would have played 28 games, so 10 left!! All if’s and buts I know BUT you never know. We could get spanked by Newcastle away, who knows.
