26th November 2021 at 11:40 am #189880“I am happy to stay!”
Has any manager said that after just 3 weeks at a club before? Only spurs π€£

8th December 2021 at 8:45 am #190828Oh dear, COVID outbreak, who bloody know’s what sort of team we’re putting out Thursday, and plenty of rumors about trying to get Sunday’s game against the Seagull’s postponed….

8th December 2021 at 8:47 am #190829Of course, it could also be a sneaky ploy to get the games played after January’s transfer window so all the “supposed” new signings will be here (and Harry’s firing again!)… π

20th December 2021 at 10:36 am #191931I see SKY sports are putting us on a pedastal, a bit premature for sure, although if we did get all three points yesterday (we certainly created enough chances!), I could understand it… overall, not a bad result considering we were missing 5 1st teamers through COVID/injury… nevermind, home to Palace next!!

20th December 2021 at 11:44 am #191933Spurs aren’t quite ready to take over the world yet but there are real signs of improvement under Conte and they are definitely in with a chance of claiming a CL place.

17th February 2022 at 8:02 am #194337“Antonio Conte has dropped a major hint that he is far from happy at Tottenhamβs January transfer business after making a sly dig at chairman Daniel Levyβs vision for the club.”
The toys are beginning to come out of the pram sooner than expected.
The full article is on TT with some strong quotes from Conte if the Summer transfer window doesn’t go the way he expects it looks like the inevitable.

17th February 2022 at 10:37 am #194338Levy. The greatest negotiator. Or so says the press!

17th February 2022 at 5:36 pm #194339Well this was always a match made in hell. You’ve got a super ambitious, driven manager who has won it all and a board more interested in the bottom line. He said Spurs have a 1% chance of finishing in the top 4. What kind of message does that send to his players?

17th February 2022 at 6:08 pm #194340Conte basically had to accept second best after Utd clearly didn’t want him. It was the only offer available in a league where everyone wants to be. And that’s probably what Levy may be banking on. If Conte does walk, where exactly does he walk to? No other top clubs available in the PL and Newcastle probably not quite ready for him yet. Real Madrid probably the only realistic club available to him outside the PL.

17th February 2022 at 7:08 pm #194343Mikus, wouldn’t be surprised to see him back at Juve. Allegri hasn’t really done much since going back there. You can’t be 10 points behind a poor Milan side as Juve manager. That’s about the only side I can see him going to. Zidane seems destined for PSG.

17th February 2022 at 7:40 pm #194344Quite possibly Ed. Just thinking if he’s still ambitious he’s been there and done that. Also the Italian clubs haven’t done much in the CL for sometime.
