The BBC site has a piece on Spurs by Guim Ballague from yesterday which is
worth a read._____________________________

3rd November 2019 at 8:30 pm #51813Don’t know what to think anymore, other than Wee Erik really shouldn’t be near the 1st 11 anymore. Now Lo Cecil is back, hopefully he’ll be starting in that role and Erik gets to relegated to the bench. Nice to see Wee Ryan get 30 seconds, at least we know he actually exists now…

3rd November 2019 at 8:41 pm #51815Apparently Bayetn Munich are interested in Potch who I think is a very good manager, most if not all managers have a bad run sometimes short sometimes long, Mourinho is a classic example he goes into free fall normally in his 3rd year at clubs.

4th November 2019 at 9:15 am #51841and now wee Son in trouble with the authorities and gone for three weeks. I really think that card colour needs to be reviewed, not on appeal but by the FA of their own doing.

4th November 2019 at 9:25 am #51843Obviously we all wish Gomes a speedy recovery from that horrific injury, no doubt about it, but I have to agree with everybody who thinks the “card” needs to be reviewed. I certainly don’t think Son intended that to happen, dispite all the nonsense, I don’t think for one minute any professional goes out to deliberately cause injuries to another, but issuing goods on the basis of an injury is only opening a very nasty can of worms…
If there is a silver cloud to this, perhaps players might get in the habit of not pretending to “hurt” when they’re really not. When something this serious occurs, it makes them all look “bad” when they’re pretending in my mind.
I don’t know what commentary you guys were listening too, but they guys I had (prior to the Gomes incident) were actually having a bit of a pop about the “acting” that was going on in yesterday’s game (and both teams were very guilty of this!). Quite refreshing to hear to be honest. Hope to hear a lot more in future.

4th November 2019 at 9:36 am #51846i think he should get a double red card and Harry should also get a red…for diving, as he would have done had he been fit to fall over…;)

4th November 2019 at 10:22 am #51850AnonymousStevo, rumour has it Kane fell over in morning training after a gust of wind and the dive was so bad he had to fake injury for the match! ?✌️?wind allowing he should be back for the next game. She fell over, she fell over..

4th November 2019 at 11:30 am #51861Having had 20+ operations on my ankle I just pray that the injury to Gomez is not a multiple compound fracture like I had, but a clean fixable break, absolutely gutted for him , definitely a day when the actual football came second.?

4th November 2019 at 7:40 pm #51880Condolences to Spurs and Gomes, I had a similar injury many years ago but nowhere near as bad as that and I can honestly say it was extremely painful so imagine what that poor guy felt. You cannot help screaming in agony.

11th November 2019 at 5:21 pm #52596Chucky, the whole mess at N17 has now finished our season after 12 games.
Poch had the hump before a ball had been kicked this season and as yet the “Real Reason” for this has been smothered by the club. Was it transfers that did or didn’t happen ? players not signing extensions Toby,Jan and Christian ? players he doesn’t want Aurier, Rose, Wanyama etc .The really sad thing is with decent investment in quality players over the previous three transfer windows we could be challenging Liverpool and City rather than trying not to be bottom of the EPL London league.
I honestly reckon he has done all he can with the club under the restraints he has to work with. As much as Daniel Levy loves this club Joe Lewis doesn’t give a flying f… it’s all about profit.Very shortly, probably the day after the new ground naming rights he will sell the club at a ridiculous profit on his investments.
I would prefer for Poch to walk away now, leaving me with amazing memories, than hang around trying to save a dead duck._____________________________
