Chucky, come on mate get real only a blind and deaf man would suggest that everything in the garden is rosy with Poch at Spurs and this is all made up conjecture.
Poch has cut a disconsolate disgruntled figure for months now with all sorts of strange comments coming from him nobody is making up anything in relation to that it’s been there for all to see in so many of his press conferences.
My personal view as I’ve already expressed is that that Poch remaining in position is to the benefit of both him and Spurs.
But any controversy swirling around Poch and Spurs relationship currently is very much all of Poch’s making and no one else’s!!!!
In respect of the Daily Mail you suggested I should copypaste today’s Mail piece about Poncho staying? It’s actually got quotes in it from the man himself, rather than those speculative pieces you seem to find… ? I merely pointed out to you that the source of the report in my previous post was the Daily Mail.

4th October 2019 at 4:13 pm #49273Puppy, cyber chum, dude, any articles that feature the phrases “sources say” and “reports suggest”, regardless of what club is involved, are just fish wrappings… quotes from actual real-life persons tend to get taking a little bit more seriously!! The Daily Mail doesn’t have a clue, and I’m willing to bet the biggest bag of Monster Munch you’ve ever seen in your life these “sources” and “reports” you keep alluding too are basically other reports and other sources they’ve found on the interweb anyway… it’s all Chinese Whispers… 🙂

4th October 2019 at 5:23 pm #49279AnonymousThis is a snippet from today’s press conference with Poch.
Was there any point after the game where you thought about your future?
In five and a half years, in every single press conference we’re talking about my future. I hope that we’re still talking, it means I’m going to spend five more years here at least.
I understand that anything could happen with Poch, as is possible for every football manager, but I am convinced he will be at Spurs for the foreseeable future and if he is that’s good news for me.

4th October 2019 at 5:29 pm #49282Chucky, with the greatest respect if the Daily Mail doesn’t have a clue why are you quoting it to me??
I know there were no quotes but there are plenty of quotes out there from Poch himself that suggest he’s not been a happy bunny at Spurs for a while and he’s been saying some pretty odd stuff to the media and even Spurs fans agree on that and have questioned his commitment so let’s not pretend it’s all made up paper talk.
And while footballers are often not the smartest cookie in the cookie jar there’s a very good chance the Spurs players would have picked up on Poch’s moods and utterances to the media and discussed what’s been going on with Poch between themsellves if you don’t want to believe that that’s up to you.
There’s was lots of speculation about Sarri last season you shouldn’t get all precious about these things and losing 2-7 at home in the CL tends to add to that speculation.
Putting the 2-7 defeat aside if anyone is guilty of creating the current conjecture it’s Poch himself.
As I said my personal view is that currently both Spurs and Poch are best with each other and a couple of decent results for Spurs providing Poch doesn’t give out any more strange answers to the media in his press conferences and this will all blow over fairly quickly.
