I know I keep saying it but I think this will be our hardest game to date in the EPL. We have not done well against them in recent meetings and I just cant see us winning game after game.
I notice all the articles are how Spurs can beat us or their players saying how they are going to win etc.
I think if we do win this and Utd drop any points v WBA it will take a lot to catch us. So fingers crossed. If I was betting 1-1. But then I am the eternal pessimist!

15th December 2017 at 5:13 pm #8934I can’t see anything other than a City win. And that is the result that i would want as a Chelsea fan. City at Etihad is very strong.

15th December 2017 at 6:33 pm #8937Too right Adlab. This Spurs side are formidable going forward, forget their latest dip in form. Their side had some class players in it. None less so than Kane. Really looking forward to it. Out on wife’s works due tonight. Then tomorrow the whole fam are in town, meal booked, walk arround the markets, few pints then on to the match, can’t wait. Should be a cracker. As long as we win! Comon City

16th December 2017 at 9:33 am #8960All depends if Tottenham “Real” Hotspurs or Tottenham “Palace” Hotspurs show up. If the “Real” version shows up I reckon you’ll be getting a game tonight!

16th December 2017 at 9:51 am #8961Adlab,,,your feelings are that still of a City fan knowing our history, I am exactly the same, however, I have found a new confidence in this team. To day will not be easy and it will be close but despite there strengths I think ours will just be better. Fernandinho is the key again because Spurs come down the middle, he needs to be at his best to cut out there routes
Years ago, many went to a match to see a certain player, either side, now I go to watch David Silva_____________________________

16th December 2017 at 10:43 am #8965Brian. You are so correct. Even now I find it hard to believe we are a top team. The other half always tells me off for looking for an excuse before we kick a ball. I of course am less rational.
Still reckon this could be our most difficult game to date.
I agreea lot depends on Ferna today as they play down the middle. We also have to avoid giving too many free kicks and be careful of Delli diving._____________________________

16th December 2017 at 1:23 pm #8978Chucky.
I hate diving whoever it is including our players. Worse when the ref gets conned. When you look at some of these guys, fit and good upper body strength and then they go over if shot. Hate it.
Lets hope for good refereeing._____________________________

16th December 2017 at 1:27 pm #89802nd that notion, my cyber chum, played both a lot of rugby and ice-hockey over the years (mind you, I was shite at both!) and when I see these primadonna’s fall over when somebody gives them a dirty look, it really grinds my gears!

16th December 2017 at 1:30 pm #8981For us, we felt the same last season at White Hart Lane – that something special happened around the team. I think it was a player a week or two ago that said, ‘Wow, I remember last season, we always start 1-0 up at White Hart Lane because something special was happening’.
“And for the opponent, it was tough to play against us. But now, of course, City are doing fantastic. But… we’re going there to fight, to kill them and try to to win”
Quote from Spurs manager. Imagine if Pep or Mourinho had said kill. The rubbish press would be writing pages and pages
