Nil, an i just ask what’s wrong with others posting on a Liverpool thread. No one’s abusive. You post on other threads Infact you posted on the City Leicester one. It doesn’t matter.

12th February 2018 at 12:47 am #15288Anonymous“Canβt even just be ourselves on our own Message Boards.”
Nil, it was always the same on TT, this crap. It’s just plain odd that you want this now on here, since there are a limited number of posters. Do you want to be left talking to yourself? cause there aren’t exactly hundreds of Liverpool fans here.
I for one have always liked having other supporters talk about matters Liverpool, it adds colour to the discussion. The thing is though, the Editor has told you that this is no supporters club and the sections don’t have borders, so cop the fuck on and stop starting shit with absolutely no provocation.
This was a thread about the Southampton V Liverpool match but you’ve made it about you, just like all the countless threads before. We’ve had this conversation 50 times, at least.

Going back to football, Nine, I agree, you may struggle to get into the top 4 but if Conte can settle the players and try and finish the season in a strong way then you’ll do it easily I’d say. This will be his last season surely, who knows if he’ll even be in charge in a few weeks time? . . So you can’t judge which way Chelsea will go from here but I would much prefer you guys did it and Utd dropped off. That was no small slip up from them today and Jose’s winless visits to St. James continues. I couldn’t be happier thinking about how it was Rafa who has inflicted a shock defeat.
So really, an almost perfect day for Liverpool. . you wouldn’t think it would you! haha

12th February 2018 at 4:57 am #15290Well that’s not taken long has it?! Another thread descends into chaos. Nil, I think I’m starting to agree with you, that you starting your own Liverpool Football Club FC Website may be the way to go for you. I’ll make that process a little smoother by removing your ability to post on here again, and this time indefinitely.

12th February 2018 at 8:01 am #15292Mak, re your post above I’m not sure what to expect from Chelsea anymore if we can get our best team out regularly between now and the end of the season drop Bakayoko and Conte settles down we might be within half a chance of a top 4 finish.
But the players need to step up to the mark and not just for one game but consistently between now and the end of the season and Conte has to take his negative head off and find his positive head if that happens and we have a decent run of results v City and United away and Spurs at home and then put a bit of a run together top 4 is still possible.
But that’s a lot of ifs and buts and as you rightly say no one knows whether Conte will be there next week let alone next season which isn’t helpful.
Tbh whilst I’ve got sympathy for a lot of what he’s said and the club need to have a long hard look at itself in the Summer with or without Conte but imo he’s pushed it a bit to far and it’s not right to keep washing your dirty laundry in public as he has.
I also thought he was smarter than taking on Roman in public. Great shame because he’s a great Coach who pulled if a magnificent achievement last season but I think it’s partly his personality and his Juve tenure ended exactly the same way with him falling out with the club over transfer strategy and they were his team.
You would have got long odds though on the last three title winning Managers all losing their jobs the following season. Cheers 999

Yday was the perfect day for a Liverpool fan but you canβt get carried away. 2nd half was a perfect performance. Defended really well and could have scored another 3.
Jim, Firmino went down very easily but he was grabbed by the neck mate. Itβs to common now were the slightest touch is giving as a pen so far durs to the ref but this has to be consistent from now on.
Absolutely no complaints over spurs pens last week. We have got a few ourselves this season. Lalanna againest evertin was no way a pen
Yday showed why we signed vvd. A good voice back there. We totally controlled the 2nd hakf.
Can can be so annoying. Some days you think he has everything really to be top class and in others, he looks like a pub player. He was good yday.

12th February 2018 at 8:22 am #15294Didnβt see spurs game but I hear they should have won by more. Chelsea need to get back on track and I think they will tonight. Itβs going to be some race for top?4 and itβs way to hard to call. Aresnal are surely gone though

12th February 2018 at 8:51 am #15295Furry Lip.. yeah, forgot about the Cup… the mighty Rochdale up next (with a mid-week mini-training camp in Italy…cough).
Wasplicker… it was a 1-0 slaughter mate. 1st half was a bit more even-stephens, especially the fist 20-25 minutes, but basically the longer the game went on, the more Spuds took control (apart from the last 5 minutes when the Goonies had no choice but to throw the kitchen sink at us). 5-1 would have arguably been a better reflection on how the game went, as the Goonies did have a couple of have decent efforts on goal.
I will say their new “strikeforce” looked very underwhelmed, they can’t play Everton everyweek…

12th February 2018 at 9:05 am #15296Anonymousif chelsea win tonight, which they should, i think people will need to realise it doesnt mean they are back on track, its one game. just like people went nuts over arsenal last week, saying its a new dawn and mkhitaryan and aubameyang were the combined second and third comings of jesus. fast forward a week and they were both utterly useless in arsenals biggest game of the season.

12th February 2018 at 9:13 am #15298Paxton, spot on mate but if Chelsea lose tonight it really will be curtains to any chance of a CL place and probably for Conte too.
Massive game for the club and Conte and much more massive than it should have been.

12th February 2018 at 9:17 am #15300Anonymous999 – i wouldnt rule them out of it. they will still only be two points off spurs in 4th with a defeat. chelsea have quality all over the pitch and if they can get a half decent run together then they are still in the race. spurs liverpool and united will all drop points from now to the end of the season.

12th February 2018 at 9:46 am #15301No doubt the pressure is all on Chelsea tonight, what with the upcoming Premiership Triple Header against YooUtd, City and Spuds in the 3 games afterwards…. you would expect Chelsea to win, on paper at least, but the game is played on grass isn’t it?
And you know WBA will be up for it, they’ve basically got a free-pass tonight, no pressure at all and you know the “smaller” teams just love to throw a spanner in the works when they get the chance.

12th February 2018 at 10:03 am #15304Chucky,there’s a home game v Palace amongst those three mate which is not an easy one but which games are now in the latter part of the Season and at least Zaha is injured.
Qualifying for a top 4 place is still entirely in Chelsea’s hands if they start performing as they should and they get all their players back from injury.
But I wouldn’t even put your money on it.? .
If Chelsea score first tonight I think they will claim all 3 points providing the real Chelsea turn up which I suspect they will.

12th February 2018 at 4:52 pm #15350As Pax, 999, Sean, Mak and others have said yesterday was pretty much a perfect day for Liverpool fans. A thoroughly professional performance without expending too much energy prior to the Porto game on Wednesday night. No injuries, Karius’ best game for us by a distance (not that that is saying much admittedly, but maybe Jurgen’s vote of confidence is bearing fruit), VVD looking a calming influence at the back, and our magicians, Mo and Bobby, just on fire up top.
I’ve been saying for a while that second place is up for grabs, and though I still believe Spurs will get it, we’re definitely in with a good shout. Of the top 6 we only have Manu and Chelsea to play, both away, while everyone else have still to play City, I believe, and of course we have no FA Cup to distract us.
As it stands, my top 6 prediction would be City, Spurs, Liverpool, Manu, Chelsea and Arsenal.
And my last word on Nil…it’s a shame, he’s probably a decent lad and sometimes when he went off on one, it was actually quite funny, but when he makes a match thread all about himself such a short time after the match and has a go at other fans posting on a Liverpool thread, it is just simply pathetic. As Mak said, there aren’t enough Liverpool fans on here to warrant a Liverpool only forum. He just craves attention, I’m afraid. I wish you well, lad, if you’re reading this, but you’ve brought it on yourself, and I sense from the Ed that he has lost patience with you finally this time.

12th February 2018 at 5:56 pm #15358Will be watching the Chelsea game and feeling rather grubby in cheering on an alan Pardew side. But in the pursuit of top 4 a baggies win would be a good result for us.
Words fail me with Nil, I just donβt understand him. Iβm not sure heβs quite all there, and a drink makes him worse.

12th February 2018 at 7:40 pm #15373AnonymousI have been quick to criticize Karius but he’s had at least 2 good performances recently. Credit where it’s due but he’ll need a lot more to convince me that he’s better than Migs. If he continues to play well and improve on his performances then maybe he can convince me that it is finally not just in our best interests to buy a world class keeper in the summer and be done with it all, for once.
I will take some convincing though and I hope Klopp is the same. My idea on Karius has always been that he was brought in as back-up. Look at his wages.
