If chelsea actually signed maguire I think I would develop that disorder the joker had in the movie where he just laughs all the time out of context due to the internal emotional trauma.
Thankfully it’s just the daily mail…but please no.

1st September 2022 at 10:42 am #198474Not much going on, yet, in the last day of the silly season…
Expect at least one “attacking” player to show up at the Lane, although I wouldn’t like to bet Buffy’s Monster Munch on who (in case Conte’s reading, I’d prefer Toare over James please)

1st September 2022 at 12:12 pm #198477Ziyech banjo? Heard spurs trying for him today. His goal against spurs last year probably has best moment for us.

1st September 2022 at 12:38 pm #198479This another one Chelsea might regret? Or have expectations not quite been met after a good start?
Brighton will be back with a new bid for Billy Gilmour later today. Chelsea are discussing on the fee as it would be a permanent move. π΅ #CFC

1st September 2022 at 1:04 pm #198482Mikus he has a lot of talent but it’s probably best for him that he leaves. We may regret it, maybe we will have a buy back option. Either way if he isn’t going to play for us we better off cashing in and letting him move on. His loan to Norwich was a waste of a year.

1st September 2022 at 1:17 pm #198483Yeah Norwich never struck me as the best loan option for him. Brighton could be a much better bet for him under Potter.

1st September 2022 at 1:34 pm #198484Feel similar about Garner going to Everton (re Chelsea and Gilmour). Hope we don’t regret it. No buyback either which I just don’t understand. Makes absolutely no sense to me to let someone like Garner go who, unlike Gilmour, actually had a very good loan (albeit in the Championship) for such a small fee with no buyback.

2nd September 2022 at 8:03 am #198509Slightly disapointed we didn’t get an “AM” in… but now we can all knuckle down and get on with it… not saying us Spuds won the transfer window, but it was certainly the best window we’ve had for donkeys years…

3rd September 2022 at 6:15 pm #198592Getting sillier season if right. Chelsea apparently tried to sign Lavia for Β£50 mill who had only just moved from City to Southampton. He’s just 18.
Behind the scenes. Chelsea wanted to sign Romeo Lavia on Deadline Day with Β£50m verbal proposal rejected by Southampton β of course, heβs untouchable. π¨π΅ #CFC
Southampton invested Β£12m plus add-ons for Lavia β and Man City have Β£40m buy back clause. pic.twitter.com/6oo1Rre2mt

π¨ EXCL: Diego Costa is being flown in by Wolverhampton Wanderers + expected at the club on Tuesday – actually not for a trial but to have medical tests & if everything is ok the plan is for the 33yo striker to sign for #WWFC as a free agent @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/claxTGasNU
