Well another week passes, nine has had a tough couple of weeks and the site has missed him.

Unfortunately KFC, Burger King and imminently MacDonalds are or will be open, the former two in Derby are have opened and apart from the hour plus queues for “fast food” the most noticeable thing is the amount of new litter these places cause on the surrounding roads, litter is a pet hate of mine, I just don’t understand the concept of not putting it in a bin, if I’d have dropped it when I was a kid I’d have expected a clip round the ear.

So sport has been given the go ahead to start up, but it’s up to the relevant bodies to ensure it’s safe, so that should be interesting in the coming weeks, the richer the sport the sooner it comes back.

Hope everyone is well and keeping safe.

Big birthday for me today sadly without my family bar my wife who is doing her best to make it a special day for me.

Well you don’t turn 21 every day do you!?

Lovely surprise from my neighbours earlier who turned up to serenade me with Happy Birthday accompanied by my guitar buddie Steve on acoustic Guitar.

Family Zoom Party to come not what we planned but the most important thing is that we are all Cov19 free and when all this is over we will try and do it properly.

Bottle of Bolli to come out of the fridge at lunchtime together with the Birthday cake.??

Happy Birthday Puppy!! 21 eh? No wonder you can’t remember when Chelsea were rubbish… 🙂

Another week, which flew by quicker than a Mo Salah breakaway, still not fun though. Over here things are beginning to open up a bit, so everybody is a bit cautious about things. Overall the numbers are still going down, which is good, but still not going away completly.

And footy is on it’s way. Watched a bit of ze Germans, not a brilliant specticle without the crowds, and I suspect our games won’t be much different. Nevermind, lose that first game agasint YooUtd and that’s Top4 completely over…

Thanks for the good wishes lads.

Despite missing the family and our intended celebrations together I had a great day with birthday wishes from around the world as well as CFC.

Caught up with my family by Video calls and whilst it wasn’t as good as us all being altogether and you don’t get these big birthdays back my wife did everything to make it a great day for me bless her.

And we’ll hold a celebratory meal all together when things hopefully get back to normal.

Do I wish I was 21 again?

Not sure I do although it would have saved me many years of Chelsea anguish. ?

I still remember the great party my brother and sister in law God bless them threw me for my 21st it was quite a week as my best friend also turned 21 within a few days of me so the celebrations went on for days.

I’m not quite up to such elongated celebrations now. ?
