Just looking at the betting.
Yesterday it was 1/4 that he will be coming to City, today its 10/11 based on the stories from Italy that Utd are trying to sign him.
Put out by Arsenal?
Who knows,
We should either get it done or leave it and move on and if he still wants to come then on a free in the summer._____________________________

11th January 2018 at 5:11 pm #12081Mourinho is a spoiler and would love to spike the Sanchez to City move.
However I suspect Sanchez has already made up his mind that he wants to play for Pep at City. Time will tell.

11th January 2018 at 6:50 pm #12092He is in his prime PPT and would imo offer more than Sane and an alternative to Aguero. I think City should go for him. Not sure why there is a hold up. We should have got him before Anfield this Sunday. Too late now.

11th January 2018 at 7:18 pm #12097No way PPT. Would be gutted if that happened. Aguero is irreplaceable in my eyes.

11th January 2018 at 11:54 pm #12121Nowadays age is only numbers. Cristaino Ronaldo is almost 33 and yet won the Ballon D’or last month. Sanchez is 29 but City can get 5 years from him. he is fit and strong lad. and crucially he has got pace. i do understand why Pep would want him. and if City gets him, he will prove to be a great signing for you guys. on a selfish perceptive i would rather have him join an abroad club like Juventus. but that said he is likely to join City. but don’t rule out an upset, and i won’t be surprised if Mourinho nicks him.

12th January 2018 at 8:19 pm #12209Without a doubt, Sanchez is a good player, would I want him at City, yes, providing we do not pay silly money. Wenger always derides our wealth but does not mind lifting the price because it is City, a bit hypocritical, however, he may well get his money but that is no worry because he will probably not spend it anyhow, looks better on the balance sheet

13th January 2018 at 9:07 pm #12303It just reflects a very big business. We are lucky with our owner.
The numbers, however, are obscene. I work as a volunteer adviser for Citizens Advice and I regularly see people who struggle to put food on the table.
What really disgusts me are the agents fees._____________________________

13th January 2018 at 9:14 pm #12306With regards to comments in certain posts above, I’m in 100% agreement about the disgusting money now involved in today’s game and how I find myself perhaps not as excited about it as I was even a few years ago. It was obscene then mind you, but the last year or two has taken it to a new level. I wonder how long it will be before football finally eats itself?

14th January 2018 at 10:52 am #12331John Cross reporting that United have agreed a 30m deal with Arsenal. A 10m agents fee and Sanchez will be on 400k a week!. Great player but no way should we be signing him on those figures at 29yrs old aswell. lol. Would risk upseting the wage structure. Enjoy the bus parking and hoof ball Sanchez. Oh and of course your runners up medals at best. ? If true expect Mouriniho to smugly announce it at about 3.30pm in his usual classy style.

14th January 2018 at 11:04 am #12332Good player. But far too much for a 29 year old. Panic springs to mind.
If true, Β£40m for a player whose contract is up in 5months or more realistically in 4 months as the season finishes in May. Salary atΒ£20m a year. So in year one a cost of Β£60m. Mind you thats what we offered 5 months ago excluding salary.
Once again greedy agents seem to be the real winners!_____________________________
