I know what you are saying but that free kick was a game changing decision was it not Pax? Why cant the fourth official just tell the ref he made a mistake and rule out the goal. VAR is a good idea just being applied incorrectly?

Every incorrect free kick can be game changing. Do you assess every free kick given? Do you only say free kicks in a certain area of the pitch can be referred? A free kick in your own half can be game changing as well. People will always have issues with the way it’s implemented and will never be enough.

It would’ve been useful but at the same time there was the slightest of contact after he started going down so maybe the ref wouldn’t have changed his mind.

We all fancied France and Belgium from the start of the tournament including myself but to be honest the best team by far lost yesterday though obviously not the best at the back.
