Not sure I agree with every assessment. I thought Hazard was too wide ,he is not a winger more effective a little more inside. KDB had to do too much tonight and ended up betwixt and between. Fellaini looked lost most of the game.
France dive too much for me but it seems to be the current mode. The more I think about it the more it is Hazard to Madrid. Chelsea seem stuck between managers.
Well predictions for tomorrow? Head not heart!

If Kane, Dele Ali and Sterling can take their games up a notch or two hopefully we can come through against Croatia one game at a time though Croatia will be tough and very few thought we would be in the Semi Finals of the World Cup but here we are. Dream!

That’s the thing, Engerland’s strength this tourny has been more to do with the defense and set-plays, still waiting for a decent attacking performance (yes, Pananma, but the key word there is Panama!). Maybe I’m dreaming, but still waiting/hoping the attacking side of the team to really click. Croatia might be favorites, but no reason why we couldn’t put a couple past them without too much trouble…

999 – harry kane doesnt need to up his game by any notches. he has been nothing short of selfless and superb in every game. what he needs is the support players of alli, sterling and lingard to up their games and get the ball to him so he doesnt have to drop deep to win the ball, or hold it up. in the 4 games kane has played i can not remember one instance where any of those 3 have got the ball to kane in a good position. people can talk all day about sterlings off the ball runs and freeing up space but what he needs to start doing is making the right decisions when hes got the ball. you cant be a an international footballer and claim to put in a good performance without actually doing anything good with the ball. off the ball runs are part of the game, but actually doing something with the ball is far more important. alli has been really poor throughout the tournament but popped up with a crucial goal against sweden. kind of how he was for spurs this season. wouldnt drop him for loftus cheek though as he did nothing in his appearances to claim a spot.
