Very interesting that one of those nations as posted above will now be in the final cause of the draw. Clearly the setup is wrong as none of those teams were fancied and in fact none are really good enough to deserve a world cup final.

I am not sure how you can say they are not good enough to be in the final? Germany, Portugal, Argentina and Spain certainly wernt good enough. Do you think teams should get some set of pass straight to the quarters just because they have won it in the past or are higher ranked Moos?

Let me rephrase nations like Russia Croatia Sweden Switzerland
Colombia England do not have the technical or required skills to usually make a world cup final but it does not mean they don’t deserve to win it. Quite correct in saying all the top nations including Brazil have been poor. It has been a very poor world cup as far as skills
are concerned which is why we have had all these unexpected results. It kind of levels the playing fields. However on the plus side the games have mostly been intense and exciting and trouble free._____________________________

I quite like the way Japan are playing… sharp/smart counters, nice and compact at the back, hunting in packs… the Belgains need to be careful…
You know what, I’m going to start the “it isn’t the big-dogs being rubbish, it’s the small dogs getting better!” debate. One or two upsets are one thing, in 50 odd games you can expect that, but there’s been just too many now. I’m starting to think everybody is catching, certainly with regards to tactics too!!
