France much better overall. Shame that dick of a manager in charge of Argentina didn’t start Aguero. Argentina have been poor in this tournament. Shame Messi didn’t get to show his talents in this tournament. I know many would say Ronaldo bug for me Messi still shades it.

Shame that’s probably the last we’ll see of Messi at a World Cup. He’ll certainly not be remembered for his exploits for his national side, that’s for sure. Doesn’t take away from how brilliant he’s been for Barca, though.

For me, Messi was better than Ronaldo 2-3 years ago but Ronaldo has gone past him again now. But that’s just me.

Ed probably right that Ronaldo has been the better player the last couple years but before that Messi was out on his own. Ronaldo has an incredible drive still, Messi seems to need to rely on others more.

I used to be a Messi-man, but his star is fading a bit the last year or two… RonnyII is still racking up the trophies (as Messi has) but still seems to be showing up in the big games too… can I be wavering? Is Sexy-legs putting the fizz in my beans?
