Do people genuinely believe Dier has had such a terrible game? I donโt know if itโs bias but I think heโs been fine. Kept the ball moving, knocked it forward, nothing spectacular but not done anything wrong. Whereas TAA is being praised yet has produced absolutely nothing.

Jim – I meant maybe Iโm the one being biased. Heโs got close to a 90% pass completion rate. Heโs a defensive midfielder who hasnโt had a whole lot of defending to do. Do people just expect him to become a box to box midfielder that will create loads of chances just because thatโs what the game is lacking? Thatโs not what he does. Itโs a very negative set up and if you want a link between Defence and attack, dier isnโt your man. Thatโs not his fault. Heโs there to win the ball and release it. Unfortunately his midfield partners are delph and Loftus-Cheek who have had no end product.

Really want to see Rashford more down that left hand side. Don’t like him at all down the middle. He needs to be running at people more. Like I said before though, prefer him more off the bench. Still got a lot of developing to do. Sterling needs to be given another chance in the next game
