He did very well this season against the big sides. He’s a level down from Kane but I’ve not seen any other strikers do as well as him yet this tournament. Granted, though, he needs to carry on scoring in the latter stages to be taken seriously as a top forward. I’m certainly not looking forward to England facing him though, put it that way.

Also worth noting that Lukaku was MOTM in BOTH Belgium’s games so far. Some achievement with that many stars in that side

I know Jim ?. I was surprised myself though to see he’d got MOTM in both games. You’d not find many who would have predicted that in a side with KDB, Hazard and Co.
Yeah it’s definitely an English thing I think SRD. In the same way it’s probably a Danish thing to want to see Sweden fail ?

Jim, as a Dane I always had to drive through Germany to get further south during the summer. Also spend holidays there. I also studied years ago with some Germans as we have a German minority in the southern part of our country. I only know the Germans as very nice and friendly people and Germany as a fantastic country. So I want them to do well.
I also visited England many times. Only got good things to say about you as well, mate._____________________________

SRD79-Baconmuncher ,I too spent some time in work-experience time in Germany and have a sister who lives in Nord-Rhein-Westfalen,visit quite often and from what I gathered only half of the population ever smiles-the female part! The other half of krauts-the male twats consider themselves way too precious,and Deutchland x2 uber alles is their mantra!Lol.

Mav, so we blame kids for the sins of their fathers? That’s sad. And by that logic we should dislike scandinavians because of the vikings, mongols because of Djengis Khan, the English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Dutch for their colonial history, the Canadians because of Bryan Adam’s music and so on.
Exciting game. Clearly the better team won. I do feel a bit sorry for the Sweden though. The key words being “a bit” 😉
