Depending on which rag you read (I read all of them as I’m very bored at work!) it seems now Conte has turned down Madrid, along with just about everyone else bar Moyes and Pardew.

With Madrid being #1 on Banjo’s Oversea’s Sides He Loves To Watch Lose, I’m loving it. It seems nobody wants to follow Headbutt, who to be fair has set the bar pretty high with a reasonably old squad full of exceedingly large ego’s.

I reckon they all want somebody to cock it up first and Madrid will be doing this dance again next summer!

Usually they haven’t got a problem getting managers or players for that matter. I read somewhere some time ago that a German player explained that as a German signing for Bayern Munich was the ultimate blueprint of your abilities as a player. I think Real Madrid have the same effect just on a larger scale.

I think they’ll end up with who they want. I read that former player Guti is the one they want. That seems like they try to do yet another Zidane. And why not? It worked first time around.
