I do think the race for the Top 4 is a lot closer than the table shows and I’m still quite optimistic about the Spud’s chances….
Now Maureen has gone, and based on the evidence of the last couple of games, my Spuds are playing a lot closer to their strengths than they were, and are quite capable of winning all 4 of their remaining games.
On the other hand, Foxy Ladies have a horrible run-in, they have to win at the Brown Ale Boys tonight, as then they have YooUtd, Chelski and Spuds for their last three games, whereas Chelski have MoneyBags and the Foxes, LiVARberoOol have a game in hand, bit worried about them, and who know’s what Wet Spam will do…
Still think it could very easily end up with Moneybags, YooUtd, Chelski in that order and a last day “play-off” between Foxy Ladies and the Spuds for that 4th spot!

7th May 2021 at 7:24 pm #178811I’ve come across over the last few days Permutations; i.e. alluding to English Teams winning European Trophies and the implications on the champions league places and who (according to the rulebook) qualifies.
Even if Liverpool did for instance somehow finish 4th, they wouldn’t be guaranteed that 4th place.

7th May 2021 at 7:34 pm #1788124th should be all for CL footy now the Goon Show are out. 4th would have only been in jeopardy if the CL & EL winners both finished outside top 4, like the Goonies winning EL in 8th and Chelski winning it but finishing 5th (or lower hopefully, π ).

7th May 2021 at 7:35 pm #178813Not a betting expert but those adds for Pool seem a bit short and for the Spuds a bit long, if you ask me!
