End of an era, the events that took place while Elizabeth was on the throne and the changes are mind blowing but the Queen was always the same. I am not a royalist but have always had an affection for the Queen and like a lot of the country I am sad we have lost her.

End of an era in more ways than one, cyber chum, the only one of that family I had an ounze of respect for, and I suspect I’m not the only one who feels that way.

Obviously, she’s somebody’s Mum, somebody’s Granny, even great-Granny in some cases, it’s never easy to lose someone who’s loved as such, and for that they have my sympathy as would any other family.

But what reamins of the entity that is the “Royal Family”…

Wonderful lady, never met her but did get an invite to one of her Garden parties. She has been a constant reminder of what our country is about and an example to us all.
Whoever follows will not be as good that is for sure and I am a little downcast about that
