Amazing how little is said of Kane’s Rivaldo impression! Just a blatant attempt to con the ref
No one will talk about this dive because it's Harry Kane and he's an English player. pic.twitter.com/wm7bizwWDg

27th October 2019 at 6:49 pm #51171AnonymousHope so Mikus. The non-overruling thing was scandalous.
Adlab, I’m surprised you’re not going mad over that peno. Were that against us, I’d be pretty upset. Im not saying it isnt a peno but that when a player purposefully plays to win one,… we saw one last week, or the week before. Its just not in the spirit of the game, in my opinion.
regardless though mate, nobody up there wants us to win. Liverpool could have had 5 or 6 today. “Could have” won’t feed your kids but we were pretty good today.

27th October 2019 at 6:50 pm #51172AnonymousI was pretty annoyed about that dive from Kane at the time. I had my complaints about Lovren today but no way has he committed a yellow card offense there. the ref was generally pretty good but he shouldn’t have fallen for this nonsense.

27th October 2019 at 6:53 pm #51173Adlab,
you’re entitled to your opinion my good friend, however do you genuinely believe there’s pre-favouritism towards Liverpool?
Last week I felt we were hard done by with Origi, and today we got lucky with Mane and this is what I mean about decisions evening themselves out.
To be fair, we had a very good Ref in Anthony Taylor who knew when to give a foul and book a player.
Adlab, if I was in your shoes, given you’ve won 2 Prem Titles back-to-back, I wouldn’t be complaining too much.

27th October 2019 at 6:57 pm #51175Although we are good at this, I felt we were fortuitous with holding our line for off-side. Trent looks a tad vulnerable at times.
When we face a side that has top top players like Silva, KDB, Sterling, Jesus, et al, we could quite easily be exposed.
Above all, it’s all about focusing on the next game

27th October 2019 at 7:10 pm #51176Liverpool deserved to win.
The pen? Getting used to it.
Kane has always been a bit of a diver but sadly they all do it now. I get worse knocks around the head from our horses but I dont fall over writhing in convincing agony. From todays game players Rose and Mane are the same. Im old school. They are players not fairies?_____________________________

27th October 2019 at 7:23 pm #51177The thing that bothers me about the Kane incident in the video is how close the assistant is to it and still he gives Kane the free kick. He’s far from the only culprit in the league but he seems to get away with an awful lot.
Huge win for Liverpool that. Crazy that Utd are now above Spurs. Decent win for Utd. Hopefully we deserved it. Couldn’t find the game on live so will have to settle for the highlights

27th October 2019 at 7:35 pm #51178Not as crazy as Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Palace being above Spurs Ed.
Good win for United hopefully the only one this week.?

27th October 2019 at 7:37 pm #51179Ed, very good win for you guys away from home. There seems to be a gathered momentum on the back of last Weekend.
Can’t figure out meanwhile Arsenal. It’s just hot and cold. I don’t know if this is just all down to a combination of reasons.

27th October 2019 at 7:45 pm #51180These things even themselves out through the season Adlab.
So they say.?
The Liverpool v City game in a few weeks time should be a stonking game.
City really need to win it if they are going to close the gap on Liverpool but at the same time City will need to take care of Liverpool’s full backs and be defensively strong which won’t be easy given all City’s injuries.
Much for Pep to ponder.

27th October 2019 at 8:25 pm #51181Adlab of course you don’t go rolling around, you’re not competing in multi million pound game. It’s not that footballers are as you say fairies, it’s that they will do almost anything to gain any advantage. It’s the game these days, and Kane has been one of the most clever for some time.
Regarding the game i cant believe any pundit that would say spurs were tactically spot on. Theres nothing wrong with going defense and restricting the other team to poor chances like utd did last week for 75 minutes but Liverpool had some very good chances. It was just bad finishing and great goal keeping that kept Spurs ahead for so long, Poch’s tactics were terrible. The liverpool full backs practically had freedom of the pitch.

27th October 2019 at 8:45 pm #51187Clear Penalty. No Doubt about that at all.
Mane won the ball fairly and so he in the process was fouled in the box so that in turn renders a Penalty.
If there were FIFA World Cup Tournaments, I’d Guarantee in these being Awarded.

28th October 2019 at 1:10 am #51190From what I’m reading we pretty much dominated the game and despite how close it was were very deserved winners. Good to see the much maligned Hendo pop up with an important goal as well. Is Mo injured, I’m reading he came off and might be out for a game or 2. I hope not because we will need all our big guns fit for the city game coming up soon, not to mention what I think is our best chance of silverware in the cups. All in all the season is going very good so far but as we seen last season a 6 or 7 point lead is not that big a buffer when you have to play the moneybags a couple of times.
Take care all._____________________________

28th October 2019 at 3:40 am #51191AnonymousAye, it was a well taken goal. He played to thw whistle. Great ball from Fabinho. I gotta say tho, what match were Sky watching? They rated 3 players above Fabinhos apparent 7 performance… absolute mad lads, he was 9 and clearly MOTM, in my opinion but they gave that to Mane.
Fabinho ran the show from start to finish. The amount of pressure he was under… whenever he touched the ball, Spurs were rushing him but his decision making was too good for him. His vision and execution of pass was too good.
What do ye lads think? Am I wrong here?

28th October 2019 at 6:01 am #51193Agree 100% Mak, Fabinho was clear MOTM for me. We are used to seeing him as a player to break up play but yesterday he was a deep-lying playmaker and played very well. Everything went through him, he dictated the pace of the game by changing play quickly and showed a very good range of passing.
