I’m happy to be ahead but lads, I said it before and I’ll say it again… I don’t like the way players are forcing or playing to a foul. Has he fouled Mane there? technically but that’s it. If I had the power , I’d say no penalty to that rubbish.

Important and deserved win for Liverpool. I couldn’t understand Poch’s team selection or the tactics lots of sorting out to be done at Spurs.

My heart was in my mouth there when Spurs were attacking but it’s always nice to have the worlds best keeper behind you. What a game! Liverpool deserved the 3 points, even if the actual manner of that penalty was in my opinion, not great. We were pretty good there for most of it, maybe lacking that killer instinct, or maybe credit needs to go to the Spurs keeper.

That was a real treat of a match though. Most of our lads played to a very high level, with some maybe fading in parts, over time etc. Great to get the 3 points against a pretty good Spurs. We dominated them for most of it but when they came at us, they did so with purpose and skill. A weaker team loses to Spurs. Not sure what they are doing in 10th, or where-ever they are.

Those closing stages were nervy I kid you not and delighted we held on.

BIG BIG 3 points that makes all the difference.

Back to Winning ways – 9 1, and still lost nothing.

I think Carragher has epitomised Spurs situation – they had a really good team, but unlike Liverpool they didn’t add players that would take them to the next, final level. And it’s just gone stale as times gone on. Obviously better today, and perhaps unlucky at times, but again, stuttering overall.
