Spurs surely are favourites now. Even if I wouldn’t put it past Juventus to just sit back and win 1-0

15th February 2018 at 8:35 am #15674Sevilla haven’t been too smoothly running this season in Spain, but they usually perform well in cup competitions. United are favourites, but it could be a tricky one.

15th February 2018 at 8:39 am #15676I think United will be too strong for Sevilla and despite Spurs brilliant comeback the Spurs v Juve tie is far from over and is still a difficult one to call.
The Chelsea v Barca tie is a done deal.

15th February 2018 at 8:43 am #15678Being serious for a moment like the Ed I think a PL side could win it this season and there will surely be 3/4 PL clubs in the Qtr Finals. You just never know in the CL but if a PL side is to win it my money would be on City.

15th February 2018 at 8:49 am #15679999, hope you’re right about United vs. Sevilla. And good luck with Barcelona. I think you’ll need it, but I hope you’ll get through.

15th February 2018 at 8:52 am #15682Well, best case scenario is 5 teams in the 1/4’s, so at least one all PREM tie is going to happen if so….
Am I right in thinking there are absolutely no “official” draw “restrictions” in the next round? In theory it could be anybody against anybody? Even if YooUtd still get the weakest team in the comp? Like Chelski or Pool? 🙂

15th February 2018 at 9:05 am #15685Anonymousspurs are favourites with the bookies to go through. but never write juventus off. they are still a brilliant team.
sevilla are great in the europa league but have always struggled with the champions league. expect united to make easy work of them.

15th February 2018 at 12:46 pm #15699999, Indeed. Chelsea have some quality players and a tactically good manager, so it’s by no means a foregone conclusion that Barcelona will come out on top even if they are favourites.
I’ll be hoping for Chelsea to win. I just never took to the tiki taka of Barcelona and Spain 😀And that semifinal in 2012 was one of the best examples of true teamwork I ever did see.
