I refer to my point earlier this afternoon; the player at the far post one could argue isn’t in the ‘equation’ and is not interfering in play.
At least from my interpretation unless I’m genuinely missing something here???
I don’t feel as though the Cardiff defender at that point of time made the impression that he had to deal with the presence of more than 1 Chelsea attacker.

31st March 2019 at 9:30 pm #36556Albeit, the blatant point in the Cardiff defender being outnumbered?!
Again, I’m missing something, or me just point bland blind and a thicko haha π

31st March 2019 at 9:37 pm #36557You didn’t need a decent clip Nil it was the most blatant offside you’ll ever see.
It was down to the linesman who has confirmed his view was blocked by Willian.
Fortunately such decisions will be things of the past once VAR is fully operational next season.

31st March 2019 at 10:16 pm #36561I did think about and refer too the Offside rule change from Italy 1990 and USA 1994 π
A life-time ago. Haha, my mind was sort of fixated towards a Maradona through ball, and Caniggia being onside.
Or even Gabriel Batistuta π
Goalhanging though is blind and being ignored.
Are the ‘Bigger’ Teams being favoured?

31st March 2019 at 10:28 pm #36562AnonymousBrian, yer right, you only have to win the rest of your games. I’m only glad that we managed to keep it alive for now. The one good thing that we have that you don’t, is we have only 1 top team left to play. We got the other one out of the way here. You have 2, so even though I think you might breeze through them, there are 2 matches where you could struggle.. the rest… no chance. Not even worth mentioning.
Obviously you will take every single match deadly seriously, as I will when watching Liverpool. I know none of us will take anyone for granted. We’re in deadly serious mode, you could hear it in the crowd earlier.
Belief is a dangerous thing but a part of me wonders if our late winner against Spurs won’t wear at the minds of City. They are champions but they arent used to being challenged. Obviously I hope that this has a psychological effect on them but I think they have Palace next? It’s unlikely that they ill be able to truly test City.
We can only remind them that we’re not going anywhere.

31st March 2019 at 10:52 pm #36564π L I O N E L – S A L A H with a touch of Toby.
Motd 2 Highlights; I LOVE JURGEN KLOPP.
I have experienced in life, a lifetime and a journey of ups and downs.
For example, Sissoko not taking his chance reminded me of a certain little Russian in Andrey Arshavin in one of the best football matches ever circa 2009 at Anfield denting our then Title hopes albeit Yossi Benayoun last-gasp equalizer.
Somebody on Radio 5 mentioned the moment of ‘Gerrard Slip’.
It goes to show de-ja-vu’s are easily reignited in memory of Liverpool Supporters.
And so we’re wanting and in hope to finally nail down our first League Championship, since 1990 and as always why we are Precious.

1st April 2019 at 2:28 am #36569We are doing well to hang in there with city but I doubt we will go the last games undefeated, esp away from home. I also can’t see them dropping points in another game so it won’t matter. Still a monumental effort considering the financial clout we are up against. Sadly money is all that matters these day’s. C/L is our best hope of winning anything.
Top 4 is very interesting, a lot on the line there & it’ll be intriguing to see who gets the C/L next season._____________________________

1st April 2019 at 7:06 am #36570Careful Oz, playing that poor little us card… π
I mean, I think your goalie only cost 6 times the cost of Hugo, our entire back 5 playing cost less than Virgil Van Ponytail, our entire midfield cost less than one Kieta, and our entire strikeforce cost less than one Salah…. and it still took an own goal to beat us…. but lets all complain about City’s spending…. π

1st April 2019 at 7:25 am #36571great weekend of football and if we win tonight i will be very happy indeed and we will be in 3rd!
Cardiff, feel very sorry for them, the level of officiating is so poor in the PL, we really should sort this.
United were lucky but it was a very fergie like display and they got the job done
Pool and Spuds, at first i thought pool had blown it and become the nearly mnen again, but i forgot the were playing the perrinal chokers who really could now finish 6th in a 3 horse race π
not counting my chikens though (pun intended) newcastle have been playing well and wont roll over, exciting end to the season….

1st April 2019 at 7:33 am #36572Proper mugging in Whales, no doubt about that, put me in a bad enough mood before we went all Spurzzy and gave away a point or 3 at Whinefield (see above post from Oz! π )…
They say it comes in three’s, so I’m fully expecting the Goonies to win with (another) dubious peno in the 87th minute to sneak a 2-1 tonight… the footballing gods do not like Banjo or myself
today, week, month it seems…I’m off to join Scientology… that will show ’em!!

im sure Tom Cruise will welcome you with open arms….enjoy, they are a thoroughly nice set of lads, bring the deeds to your property to hand over π

1st April 2019 at 8:03 am #36574I think a dubious peno from a dodgy line call is a lot less embaressing than a dubious peno from a player falling over… we still haven’t found that sniper!

1st April 2019 at 8:16 am #36577Banjo goal keeper and vvd were bought because we sold our best player chum
Doesnβt matter how we beat spurs. History books will say we beat you twice this season me aul chum
As stated many times even before spurs fell apart, just not keen on Poch like some are. Heβs done a great job but donβt get why heβs linked with the utd job etc
Spurs on their day are an excellent team.
Problem is whatβs happening now seems to always happen with a themI think they will still play get top 4 but that should have been done already

1st April 2019 at 8:28 am #36578its ok, as Poch says they only need another 10 years to change their mentality, and with the heavey investment they get form Dan with there somewhat ridiculously priced shiney new copy stadium im sure that in 10 years you will see a different beast….
i jest of course as is till dont think you will π
