Nearly had a panic-attack with that one. Feel for Allison.

10th March 2019 at 12:47 pm #35362There is no conspiracy against any teams, however mistakes are made, every goal you see you can go back and at some point a player has made a mistake that in some respect has led to the goal. Players when presented with goal scoring opportunities donβt always score, they make the wrong decision. Without mistakes every match would end 0-0. So if we want goals in games we have understand that players,no matter how talented will make mistakes, why then are we up in arms when a ref makes a mistake?
Get yourselves on a Referee course, ref some matches and see how difficult it is. When I watch my two kids ref at, the end of the game I wonβt say βyou got that wrongβ I always ask βwhen xxx happened, what did you see?β and the decision they gave is correct for the incident as they saw it.

10th March 2019 at 12:50 pm #35363Just read what happened to Villa’s Jack Grealish. Where is Football seriously going when players aren’t even assured of protection from the crowd on the pitch?
Could potentially have been a knife attack – hope that geezer is banned.

10th March 2019 at 12:52 pm #35364We or I get like that Pagan for a reason and that’s due to being tired of decisions going more against us than for us. That’s the only reason is mentioned.
Of course, there’s no conspiracy.

10th March 2019 at 12:57 pm #35365Anyway back to the game and half-time; feel more in relief we turned that setback around and quickly. I would not have wanted to go into half-time with a goal down. That would have given Burnley the upper-hand.
We can now play our game going into the second half but must ensure we get the 3rd and 4th to kill the game off and get over the finishing line.

10th March 2019 at 12:59 pm #35366Mr. Balance, the problem you have, and itβs the same when any fan watches his/her own team is you donβt watch it with impartiality, therefore thereβs always more decisions that go against you….Pagan

10th March 2019 at 1:01 pm #35367AnonymousI’m sorry but the “could have been a knife attack” is hysteria being pushed by the media. I mean, ya it technically could have been and yes, security should be a lot better BUT a fan trying to punch a player he doesn’t like and a fan trying to MURDER a player… are 2 different things.
Obviously though, it shouldn’t be possible that someone can get onto the field so easily but let’s calm down a little bit.

10th March 2019 at 1:03 pm #35368AnonymousExactly Pagan. I get sucked into allowing my bias to get the better of me with some calls but one thing I notice is the amount of times that I’m shaking my head “no” to penalty calls for ball to hand situations and the like, when the fans go crazy over them. it’s definitely a better experience to try and rest your own bias but obviously with contentious issues in big games, it can be impossible π

10th March 2019 at 2:00 pm #35378Still feel relieved. Not the most convincing of performances and we got too comfortable at the end. The goals however are starting fire into the net again for us, so that’s a plus. A bigger plus though essentially is the much needed 3 points and closing the gap to 1 point with now 8 left to play.
A big chance next weekend to regain top spot.
