I think hazard will certainly go…somewhere but Kane will not, good player but not ambitious enough to move away from Spurs.

11th March 2019 at 8:16 pm #35597Bit like Le Tissier Brian. I can only see Hazard going to Real tbh. But there will be tons of rumours between now and the Summer window opening.

12th March 2019 at 1:53 am #35599AnonymousYa, no chance hazard stays beyond the next window. I’d say Jose will be off to PSG. I’d love to see Pep go there but I think there’s very little chance of that. Pep might look at Italy but in 1-2 years. Juve would be a good challenge for him.
Nine, 95 points will be bloody hard for Liverpool to get. I’m a bit more worried about a serious drop off in performance/results, so thinking that we would win all but one, drawing that… It’s possible but I think City will have more legs than us.
Even if our football isn’t quite as exciting as last season, the tension when I think about the PL and now the coming CL match against Bayern… It’s something else. The doubt sets in you know. I just hope the players can somehow find and maintain a high level of confidence throughout this incredible challenge.
It’s not good to think that our season could be over after our next 2 games but that’s how tough it is when you’re this close to the top.

12th March 2019 at 8:06 am #35600Mak, we are a different animal at home mate. Look at our recent games at Anfield bar Leicester. We score loads of goals and play some great attacking stuff and create loads of chances The front 3 play very well at home.
Our problem is away form home. Our fixtures away for the run look ok. Spurs and Chelsea are two very hard games.
I think everyone is more relaxed now as we are chasing. We just need to stay in it till city go to old tarford and that’s going to be very hard.
It’s the only game were I think city might draw. I can’t see them losing any games.
It’s out of our hands now and I’m fully expecting a city league title and am very relaxed about all this
Even at 1 down Sunday, I fancied us because we are so strong at home
If we drop any points away from home from here on in then we deserve nothing.

12th March 2019 at 8:11 am #35601Mak, After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play.”
“Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player, that’s all I will say.”
That’s what Zidane said about Hazard.
Add the above to Hazards love and admiration of Zidane and his ambition to play for Real who were his boyhood Club and he’s a goner imo.
Only the transfer ban and Hazards respect and affection for Chelsea and desire not to drop them in the brown stuff by leaving under those circumstances might change things. It did for Griezman in similar circumstances but you wouldn’t put money on it.
Worst case scenario is he goes we get circa £100m for him but can’t spend it.
I won’t hold it against Hazard if he does go though it’s been an absolute pleasure to see him at the Bridge for 7 seasons and players rarely stay that long and he would be fulfilling a boyhood ambition.

12th March 2019 at 8:18 am #35603Lots of ifs and buts. One decision could be vital. A penalty that isnt to win three points. A sending off, an injury etc.
If the above even out over the remaining games then each team have to try to win every game. Our problem may be too many games. FA CUP? CL.? Liverpool may be out of the CL this week and no FA cup.
Liverpool problem is the possibility of tension and manager tactics. (You cant always bomb forward) Should be a close run thing.
I still wonder who would Utd rather win. Liverpool or City?

A loss to United and 7 wins gives City 95 points mate. Tbh I can’t see either of you or City losing too many games Liverpool might need to win them all to take the title tough but not impossible.

12th March 2019 at 8:26 am #35606Think you’re right Adlab fighting on 4 fronts and too many games could be City’s undoing in the title race they need to get the injured players back not playing another PL game until after the international break is a help in that direction.
If I was a City fan I would be rooting for Liverpool in Munich you don’t need them knocked out and purely focussed on the title race.

12th March 2019 at 8:42 am #35610I mentioned the possibility of Old Trafford where points could be dropped, but that’s admittedly my bias. I get some people not affiliated to Man City don’t want Liverpool to win it.
None of the 2 will win every single game. Having watched City, home and away recently even as far as Huddersfield away, I genuinely don’t believe they are convincing. They are just finding that little something extra in getting over the line which is obviously what you need, it’s a question of whether there’s enough of it in the tank of which is enough to cater for 3 competitions.
Points are droppable anywhere so it doesn’t really hinge on the United game. That was just my optimism I openly put out.

12th March 2019 at 9:40 am #35613Adlab, Liverpool are were they are because we dont bomb forward all the time.
It’s a very lazy comment which I presume is because you don’t watch us that often.
Clear change in tactics this season and the reason why we have the best defensive record in the league.
We are were we are because of Klopp. It’s remarkable we are even with in sight of city who have the best squad in Europe and finished 25 points ahead of city
You like to have little digs I notice at Liverpool
And utd but are not very objective when it comes to cityThe biggest decision of the season has already gone cities away and that’s kompany not being sent off againest Liverpool when 0-0 at the Etihad.
Imagine if watford dropped 7 players for a game againest Liverpool lol. You would be livid
No mention from the press about it.
I’m
Starting to ageee with nilthat there is an anti luveroool agenda. The absolute carnage after a Salah dive and media all over itBecker fouled on Sunday hardly anything said
Silva dove againest west ham
Sterling offside goal on sat yet tour saying it could go down to one decision lolYouse have gotten a huge amount already

12th March 2019 at 9:55 am #35614I say deduct 10 points from every team for every player they’ve bought in the last two transfer windows, that will stop teams buying the title…

12th March 2019 at 9:59 am #35615not sure it is to be honest Sean, OK for city to dig at a title contender and vice versa IMHO, united and arseal did all the time (back when we were both challenging!) its a natural part, as an outsider i also dont see the bias in the media, i heard just as much about the City offside goal as as a liverpool incident and also the fact you had bad decisions with fouls to your keeper….

12th March 2019 at 10:06 am #35616Fair points Stevo . More the media then fans.
Adlab is always the first to mention any decision any teams gets. It’s only football really so maybe I’m going over the top

12th March 2019 at 10:16 am #35618i think as fans of other teams we all give and take as per our own agendas its easy to do especially when the pressure is on, count yourself lucky you have the pressure you do, it shows how well your team is doing, i miss those nail biting days!
as for the media, in all honesty i dont see to much of it, the “stories” dont interest me and they cant be trusted, outside of punditry on a match or MOTD im fairly media free and i find MOTD to be fairly balanced

12th March 2019 at 10:58 am #35620With regards to all this title talk, I’m pretty certain it’s going to be the team at the top who wins it, and I’m pretty certain it isn’t going to be Chelsea.. that’s about all I know!
