Interesting (but not surprising analysis) seems to confirm that only managers that aren’t reaching a certain points per £ spent on player salaries (inefficient managers) are ones that have lost their jobs. All managers above the line (efficient ones) are safe in their jobs.

Was a goal scoring op denied? No…
Was the player moving towards the goal? No…
Had the attacking had full control of the ball? No…
Did the attacking player make any attempt to avoid the “tackle” or “stay on his feet”? No…
Was the attacking player falling down in anticipation of the tackle, therefore milking it like a prize-winning dairy cow? Absol-fooking-lutely…

Yes, there was contact and yes it was in the penalty box, which I know in this day and age means a peno..

But not in my world!!

I think you need to review the rules mate we are not playing to Chucky’s rules.

Anyway: Was it in the penalty area. Yes. Was it a foul. Yes. Did the Ref give it. Yes. When you read the papers tomorrow will it say penalty alongside goals scored.Yes.?

Delighted for Rafa and Rodgers. Things seem to be turning around for newcastle, I mean the guy is a miracle worker. Will non-fans of his finally start to give him the credit he deserves, soon? I really don’t thinkt here are many out there who would keep this newcastle team up but he’s gonna do it AGAIN.

Happy Rodgers has his first 3 points too. He’s only beaten Fulham but a win is a win.

City kick off now very shortly. Watford are a good team who I’m hoping will test them but I still don’t hold much hope for them getting a result. Should I? I mean, there aren’t many teams left who will have a better chance than them. It’s a shame that we’ve got to play tomorrow, I’m not confident that we’ll handle the pressure that either a City win or a loss gives us.
