Nine, at 1:19. Completely agree mate. In my eyes, it’s dangerous. Those cans filled aren’t even being used and stored away. Personally, I rather somebody filled their tank to the full.
Senseless and Selfishness springs to my mind.

26th September 2021 at 5:25 pm #185774“Personally, I rather somebody filled their tank to the full.” Problem is Nil is they probably had already filled their tank up.

26th September 2021 at 11:39 pm #185800People aren’t good Nine, horrible in fact.
If truth be told, I’d move as far as possible from inner city.
I don’t need this in my world. Sheer lack of thought, consideration and laziness.
I’d to extent, give my job up tomorrow.

27th September 2021 at 2:20 pm #185837Adverts for Β£62k β¦ for cabbage pickers
Might be tough times but there is huge money to be made at the moment for industrial people able to slog it out snd various jobs with little rest
Could bust a nut for a few months and be minted

27th September 2021 at 3:55 pm #185841Nil.. you are right, we have become a selfish, “me to” woke nation and that is all that matters to these people

27th September 2021 at 4:19 pm #185842One major problem is that we are in a country run by privileged idiots backed up by the same. And the Labour Party is currently still suffering from Corbin. When you think that so many of the Tory Party are public school, Oxbridge PPE and live in Stately homes like that Drax fellow they have no concept about the stuggles of daily living. All that matters to this lot is f….g brexit. No planning just brexit.
The EU drivers went home. The government cracked down on IR35 issues. There is more paperwork. Why work here when you can move round Europe freely without the Channel to cross.RESULT..A shortage of HGV drivers AND the government were warned about this in June and did nothing. We have Bozo in charge,
Solution? Marry a billionaires daughter. Ask Chancellor Sunak how he did it.

28th September 2021 at 11:48 am #185848Daily Mail is the one stirring it up with headlines and their media coverage. They just report the ugly side of it all.
There have been queues and generally, most folk you’d think would behave and persevere with it all.

28th September 2021 at 2:51 pm #185856I am hoping this will all start to ease as we reach closer to the end of the week.
Priority of course should be those at the high-end dependent on fuel very much on a daily basis. E.g. Ambulance Drivers, Fire/Rescue Services, Delivery Drivers, Careworkers.
In essence, we’re all playing our part.

6th October 2021 at 2:49 pm #186212Just called to fill up to day, locally. All pumps ready, nobody waiting, had my choice which to go to. later passed down the road other petrol stations, all open, none particularly busy. It must be a “London thing again”

6th October 2021 at 2:52 pm #186213As to the Electric drivers who may feel smug bat this time…just wait until electric prices go up and see how “beneficial” they are then

6th October 2021 at 6:06 pm #186220Yeah, I’ve held back from filling up Brian up until I really needed too because I didn’t want to add to the problems by buying petrol before I needed it and I will attempt to fill up over the next couple of days but my experience of the situation here in Sunny Somerset currently reflects your own.π

6th October 2021 at 8:49 pm #186221I think it is a London thing Brian. Like the Toilet Roll saga, the furore should drop off. I manage to top up Β£20 last Thursday with brought it to a nice full-tank. Done a couple of food shopping errands and been to work and still plenty to keep me going.
Full Electric conversion will heighten demand overwhelmingly and supply will struggle.

7th October 2021 at 3:27 pm #186241Farage is OK as politicians go, raises a lot of issues but no answers what he would do, then that is typical of all the lot of them, same for newscasters. Disgraceful what Robinson did to a Prime Minister…needs to go back to school and learn respect and good manners If you like or loathe Boris, that was disgraceful treatment of a Prime Minister. He will get his “comeuppance”. at some point and I will cheer

7th October 2021 at 9:23 pm #186250I actually thought Gary Neville represented himself exceptionally well for the North of the border – spoke clearly and concisely.

7th October 2021 at 9:28 pm #186251Brian, I thought Greta Thunberg too was disrespectful recently in her conference and representing as an Activist. I’m growing less of a fan of Boris, but the way she conducted herself in public.

8th October 2021 at 4:43 pm #186282Activist are self serving seekers hoping to latch on to a plumb job to keep them out of the picture. All been done before. Let us see where they are in a couple of years. The M25 lot I would use a JCB to dig them up and dump them somewhere wet
