On that note, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Utd need to be more like Chelsea in that regard. We need to place less emphasis on finding what we believe is the perfect manager and take a punt on managers who have a good record even if we believe they’re lacking a certain ingredient which means they tick all the boxes.
We need to then be more decisive in judging that manager and taking action when it’s clear they’re not up to the job. We dally far too much in the hope of finding Ferguson 2.0 which is just an impossible dream.

Yes weighing everything up I think Poch is the best choice and I think PSG will let him go probably in the Summer with Zidane going into PSG.
I keep seeing Laurent Blanc’s name as interim he has to be better than Bruce.😊
Long term I think Rodgers would be a mistake for United and like you I think Ten Hag would be too big a risk and though it could work I think United will be sensitive to taking a risk on this next appointment.

Yeah, Enrique surely won’t go until after the World Cup, which means we might have an interim (Carrick) until we find an interim until the end of the season until we get an interim for the period from the start of next season until the World Cup 😂.
I know I sound massively fussy, which considering we’ve just had a failed Cardiff manager is ridiculous, but I’m not keen on Enrique. A lot of managers did a good job with that Barca team. A bit like that Chelsea side post Mourinho (first time), they also had a few average managers who did well. In both cases, the sides were so well built and disciplined that they almost managed themselves. Enrique didn’t do great at Roma from memory. So, I’m not massively keen on Enrique.
