I think he’ll be a decent signing for Spurs. I still think they need at least another 3-4 players to fill our their squad ahead of a long season domestically and in Europe

18th August 2017 at 7:52 pm #3945I wonder could this signing spark a round of centrebacks being moved about. Wimmer being moved. Evans being moved. Sakho moving etc etc.

18th August 2017 at 8:23 pm #3948Certainly could ginger. Van Dijk is surely going to end up somewhere this summer too, whether that’s Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or wherever.

18th August 2017 at 8:26 pm #3950Well, I can see Wimmer of to WBA, then Evans to MoneyCity… not too sure where VVD fits in.. but I’m usually wrong…

19th August 2017 at 8:32 am #3959Spuds close to another young CB too, some lad from Argie-Bargie land who, by all accounts, had a great U-20 World Cup…. but that one has been going around for a while, although I bit quite over the last month or so.

28th August 2017 at 3:44 pm #4345Not heard about him Banjo.
I hope we’re in for an exciting deadline day. So often, it just fails to live up to the hype. I used to want to sit down in front of Sky Sports News all day and watch out for all the big rumours but it’s so rare you get a big unexpected deadline day deal these days!

28th August 2017 at 8:37 pm #4380AnonymousLiverpool have woken up and are making bids. Keita being locked down is great but we could sue him now. . Still its better than losing him to Bayern next season.
I don’t know much about this Lamar fella but people seem to be really excited by him. being a major part of Monaco’s brilliant resurgence isnt the worst sign in the world either.
Now, I’ve heard that we’re getting Van Dijk tomorrow. Lets hope its true.

28th August 2017 at 8:57 pm #4381It’s refreshing to see Liverpool in a more comfortable position and ambitious to be able to compete in what essentially is a transfer market frenzy.
Looks like this is the Neymar effect hahaha π π

29th August 2017 at 8:18 am #4392Well the Keita deal is done and dusted. Decent deal really for Liverpool and Leipzig. Will be interesting to follow his development this season knowing he’s coming to the PL.
In other news, Rashford is supposedly on Barca’s radar as a long term replacement for Suarez. Really can’t see that one happening

29th August 2017 at 9:00 am #4395Which one? π
Anyway, I see Wimmer is likely of to Stoke, wish him all the best. It’s a tough nut to crack trying to dislodge either Van the Man or ALdlerwieierelledewwedild, but he always gave 100% when called upon and you can’t ask for more than that. I’ll always remember the goal he scored at the Hemorrhoids Stadium….

29th August 2017 at 10:01 am #4396The North Korean keeper Banjo. That “slip” was terrible!
Interesting…
Man City make player-plus-cash offer for Alexis Sanchez involving Raheem Sterling https://t.co/o58RR1N62p
— John Cross (@johncrossmirror) August 29, 2017
I reckon that’s a decent deal for a player who will leave on a free in a year

29th August 2017 at 10:27 am #4398Cash plus Sterling for Sanchez. Really!? Sterling is only 22 to my mind had a good season last season and is only going to get better. Would prefer if we. Offered Mangala plus cash.

29th August 2017 at 12:17 pm #4399And now Arsenal apparently want Aguero as a swap for Sanchez. This really is silly season. Put simply Aguero is better than Sanchez, he has the best goals to minutes scored in the premiership ever, and has 3yrs left on his contract. He must be worth at least 100mill in this current crazy climate. Sanchez can leave on a free next summer. Yep silly season.

29th August 2017 at 1:09 pm #4402If City offer Sterling plus cash for Sanchez the world has truly gone mad. I just can’t see it.

29th August 2017 at 2:54 pm #4407Yeah I really can’t imagine City swapping Aguero for a player they can get for free in 12 months.
I just saw on twitter that the Ox is set to be Chelsea’s highest earner on Β£200k+!I thought he was going there to warm the bench and help them fill the homegrown quota. He’s a decent player but I’m not surprised Arsenal are happy to let him go if he’s after that much money. He’s not that good. Surely just paper talk. 999,any idea?

29th August 2017 at 3:31 pm #4408£72m for Lemar and £60m for VVD?.Liverpool are spending some serious £££3 it seems!.Silly season indeed with Wimmer for close to £20m and J.Evans going for close to £30m,how much did Pogba cost again!.
