Yeah that’s crazy. What’s actually stopping two clubs agreeing to “swap” players by agreeing separate £250mil purchases then mutually agreeing to loan said players back to the original clubs for the remainder of their contracts?! Obviously the purchase fee would be split across the length of the contract too.
So for example, City agree to swap Aguero with Kane. Both value them at £250mil each. So they do 2 separate purchases then Kane goes back to Spurs on a 5 year loan and same with Aguero. £250mil profit to spend on players!

30th June 2020 at 9:07 am #125883I knew something was going on there chums
Arthur is average. Crazy money fir a player who has done nothing and panjic is 30.
Any word on the Newcastle purchase?
I’d love to see them finish the season strongly and Bruce given a chance with a few quid. He will be gone soon though

30th June 2020 at 11:04 am #125886Sweddy Eddy… I’ve e-mailed your post to Mr. Levy… let’s see what next weeks fish wrappings are! 🙂
Waspy… it would be good to see Slaphead#1 with a bit of cash, he’s never really had the chance with a big budget, so we’ve never seen his managerial capabilites to the fullest, but I also guess he isn’t a big enough “supertar” manager for a new “project”…

30th June 2020 at 11:18 am #125887Ed, I think UEFA even at their most inefficient and without their binoculars might spot that one from Nyon.?

30th June 2020 at 11:20 am #125889? Nine. Obviously a bit of an extreme case but amazing how clubs are finding loopholes like this “swap” deal

30th June 2020 at 1:59 pm #125904“Manchester United will not pay more than £50m for Jadon Sancho, senior club officials have told Sky Sports News.
The 20-year-old is keen on a return to the Premier League but Borussia Dortmund and United remain poles apart on their valuations, with the Bundesliga club demanding in excess of £100m for the player they paid Manchester City £8m for in August 2017.
United remain the strong favourites to agree a deal but officials behind the scenes at Old Trafford believe Dortmund’s valuation does not sufficiently reflect the costly fallout from the coronavirus pandemic and must be cut substantially if a deal is to be reached.”

30th June 2020 at 2:54 pm #125908Saw that Nine. Lots reporting on it but no official word from the club. Will be very interesting to see what happens with transfer fees this summer. We ain’t getting Sancho for £50mil anyway that much is certain.

30th June 2020 at 3:02 pm #125910If you have the money, utd should go all out to get him . Pace is what’s needed in the pl these days as an attacking player
Do city have a buy back clause for Sancho? He’s a very exciting player
Just read Roy Keane could be the next manager of Azerbaijan ?
Imagine that fruitcake banging on his thick cork accent to those lads

30th June 2020 at 3:22 pm #125913The money is there Sean and I agree entirely. Would be a huge statement from Utd. I honestly think after Mbappe he’s the best young player around in terms of current ability and potential. Would be surprised though if we did get him. I think it could hang on us getting CL though which is looking less and less likely.
Saw that about Keane Sean. Feel for the players there ?. Surprised he can’t get a bigger job than that though. He did a decent job at Sunderland a few years back

30th June 2020 at 6:29 pm #125919I think Sancho is the must buy player of the season Ed. I think city, utd and Chelsea can spend. Really can’t see Liverpool spending big money
I’d say sane is on his way to Munich by the look of things

15th July 2020 at 11:04 am #128795AnonymousChucks, just goes to show what you can achieve when you employ a fleet of PR agencies to bury bad news. You can even get all traces of news removed from online nowerdays through companies. City PR people reading this. Go fuck yourselves. Line your pockets while you can.

15th July 2020 at 11:31 am #12881110… unfortunately I’m in a dubious position I have to travel to that area fairly often for work, and it’s not something I enjoy. It’s a very small silver cloud admittedly, but I’m not disappointted about the “lock-down” from these aspect.

15th July 2020 at 3:21 pm #128958442…obviously well researched but like all these cases it depicts one country when just about every other country, including our own has events we would rather forget. I am not excusing anybody but it happens everywhere, look at good history books or even what is happening this very moment.

15th July 2020 at 3:32 pm #128968Very true Chuky…but it is happening now and in this country on a large scale. We have child grooming on a big scale, sweat shops, organised crime larger than ever before. It is horrific and we do not have judicial strong enough to deal with it.
