Cityboy…it is true, apart from a few years here and there ,City supporters have had poor experience, however, most loyal fans are still there. Now we have a new era of fans. I must say though since pep has been here it has been a pleasuregoing to a match, I do not think under his management we have had many bad games, games we have lost…yes…I can always take that because there are two teams on the pitch not one and anything can happen. I do not expect to win every game but I do like to seee the effort to win, as long as that is there, it is OK with me. I know the club will expect more rather than my modest expectation though Our consistency is improving considering the number of games and competitions

Brian, he’s nowhere near getting into the team now and that’s saying something these days where Utd are concerned. If a club would be prepared to not only buy him but give us as much as £30mil, it would be a very good piece of business for Utd. I don’t believe it for a second though!

But, I guess he’s just going somewhere else. It was just damn weird to be linked so heavily after we signed someone else. Had an element of it being a bit too crazy to be made up, if you know what I mean.

Sean, you’re probably right though. I think a few outgoings but I hope for one more player, a damn CB. It will be interesting to see how much money we can get for our young/fringe players. We’re on course to convert Hoever, Brewster and a little cash on our side, into Jota… that seems like a good deal to me, as neither were going to play for us this season for sure. We get someone in exchange, who will be of the quality to step in when needed.

I listened to a podcast with a sports writer who covered Wolves related stuff and watched them etc etc… He was a guest speaker to an LFC channel. I could tell he was trying to give us the sunny side of Jota but reading between the lines,. I don’t think the guy rated him at all. I trust Edwards and Klopp over anyone of course but maybe this explains why we got him for “so little”. anyway food for thought but I bet Klopp turns him into an 80m player within 2 years.

It seems Spurs want Inter CB Milan Skriniar & Napoli Striker Arkadiusz Milik, supposedly they have club representatives over in Italy, if and this is a massive if, they pull it off I will start believing in the Tooth Fairy again!!!!

Mak….I think Jota is a good player and will fit in with the Liverpool style but he is not a striker that will bring you 20 goalsa season. (Just watch him score a Hatrick against City, now I have said that!!) I would liken him more to Firmino but maybe not quiet as good. A very useful player to have nonethe less

Koulibalily does not want to come to City, he wants PSG…but now it would appear Liverpool on his radar. It sounds like his club not getting the money they want as well. we would be better going for the younger player from Seville. I still think we are not that desperate even though I know we need one. The irksome thing to me is the money that is being paid out in transfers and wages when lots of people will have no job soon and if fans can no longer watch football…what is the point? Clubs will argue they need the money and look to clubs that can afford….then moan at them for having the money in the first place. I sincerely hope Koulibalily finds another club but not City and City hold firm and not pay what they demand. They may want to keep him but that is unlikely because they need money and let us see how they work that out
