City boy…if you look at our goals scored, with or without Augerro it is not as bad as people think. Of course Augerro will be missed but we still kept scoring in most games and I still have hope Jesus will go up a level this season, Sterling will not, I think he has reached his peak at scoring but will still offer a significant tally and contribution. Goals come from many positions in City;s formation

Can anybody tell me why at this point I have little enthusiasm for the new season?
It all seems very unreal and disappointing.
Perhaps it might change a few games in. Cant remember such a lack of interest in the 60 years I have been watching City through good and bad times.
I think its the false atmosphere and no off season. Its all so bitty and disjointed.

Good to back discussing some games etc. Great to have the ball back as Dublin gone into another lockdown. Pubs , cafes etc all closed for 3 weeks. Only one other house hold can come to visit house etc

Adlab it’s definitely not ideal, I can understand why some aren’t enthusiastic. I am very excited about it but ya, no crowds definitely takes away from it.

To the lads who are struggling to find the mood, just hang out and watch whatever games you can (with added crowd sounds) and see if it takes at some point.

As for Liverpool… A few days ago it was looking like we had no interest or ability in signing anyone. I never thought we needed much to remain as competitive as we were last season, so I’m very confident that we’re ambitious enough to remain at the top, or bloody close.

I think we’re going to see Liverpool sign a CB over the next day or 2. I have a feeling that those rumours are true. We can be patient as hell but when the pen comes out, it strikes fast.

I’m struggling to watch games devoid of any atmosphere, it’s made me realise how important the fans in the ground are . I’ve started to watch games got bored and changed channels something I wouldn’t dream of doing normally, I can’t see full grounds in 2021 and that thought is feckin miserable.

I honestly don’t mind watching it with crowd noise and 3 brilliant games today, well done palace!!!

There are effectively no away matches at the moment. I think that’s the main difference the situation is having. As for crowd noise, I have to have it on or else it’s like watching a training match. Can they not pipe some of the crowd noise into the stadium? Got to be better than playing music when a goal is scored, which should be outlawed…
