I think Bonehead’s the middle person at the moment as the pair set up a company together. Liam also invited Noel to his Wedding. They need to make up first and foremost. Life’s too short.

Nil, Liam is the kind of guy who does a lot of horrible shit and then thinks he’s being the bigger man by inviting him to weddings and birthdays etc.

I absolutely loved Oasis and I am not a Liam hater by any stretch of the imagination but I understand the kind of person he is and will call him out for the negative elements of his character.

I bet he’d be a good laugh in small portions but Noel has clearly had enough of him. Had he matured over the years, maybe there would be a chance but all that you;’re seeing from Liam is hostility, mocking etc.. That stuff with Noels wife and daughter definitely does not help. I forget exactly what was going on but i think Liam and his wife snubbed Noels daughter in order to get back at Noel, or something equally as stupid. I watched an interview with Liam talking about it and it just sounded pathetic. Other things in another interview showed some kind of eprsonal development from him, so it isnt too late but he’d wanna get his shit together soon, while some oasis fans are still going to concerts 😛

Ya, pretty sure the album was released the same week that he died. So, if anything, he really hated it? :D….Back before the internet was a big deal though, so maybe advanced copies got around a bit then.

Sean & Mak, true and fair points guys.

There was a fall-out with Noel’s wife. I think this played a part in the break up back in 2009, but part of an argument back then was Noel giving an Interview to NME and playing down Oasis as his way of browning-nosing (could completely be untrue but this was what Liam allude to in one of his interviews).

I think about all, Noel had just had enough and wanted to go solo but rather than be straight about how he felt, he used an argument as his exit route, then blame everything on Liam so I don’t believe for him to be a complete saint in all this.

Sean that was all true mate re the phone message. It was at the time of his solo gig in Glastonbury back in 2019. Noel’s wife had also mocked Liam in return so tit for tat and childish really. Personally, I think that’s one of the reasons that’s holding back for them getting back.

Things have changed a little in recent times and Noel was complimentary towards Liam during the Morning Glory Anniversary last year. He’s praised Liam during the making of the Knebworth documentary.

I still believe there is a small chance if they can put aside their past differences.

Love to see Oasis get back together if it was going to happen it would have been this year which is the 30th anniversary of the bands forming.

Personally I think it’s unlikely that we’ll see them play live again shame to see two brothers so far apart.

I was never an Oasis fan myself, never really understood the fuss, Guns and Rose’s, Metallica, Def Leopard, Nirvana, etc that is quality rock. And if we go further back in time and before most of us Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash, Stones, Doors and probably the greatest of them all Led Zeppelin and also Beatles and of course Cream.
