What’s actually happened here?
I’m at a lost.
I don’t think Pep is perfect and that could be found through my posts on here.
My position on Jose has always remained the same.

4th May 2018 at 8:39 pm #21313Mav, completely agree mate. 50 PL wins out of his first 70 only bettered by Pep and Jose and a PL title and 2 FA Cup Finals all in his first two seasons only at Chelsea mate. I’m still hoping we might see sense.

4th May 2018 at 9:04 pm #21314Maverick…I am not focusing on Jose or Utd other than I could not understand why he made statements about City. I have no amanosity towards Utd or Jose, like I said previous, I used to watch them, being a Mancunian, I do like to see both teams do well.It was just a case of WHY does he need to do this

4th May 2018 at 9:27 pm #21317Brian, not sure how anybody can be offended from our own exchanges on this thread other than speaking as we find.
Man United have had shed loads of money at their disposal, as of Chelsea. So for any of them to point the finger on Man City, I think I will put my Snooker Cue down, hahaha ๐

4th May 2018 at 10:12 pm #21322AnonymousIโll tell you why, Nil. I log on and see something about Mourinho, wonder what he has said now as the OP is just a whinge rather than anything constructive. Google it, nothing. So just assume itโs the usual nonsense and will die a slow death. Then a
couple of replies, so ask what Jose said. No reply. Just the usual whining about Jose.Seems itโs stuff he has done in the past that people feel is of some benefit to drag up again, unless you want to say what it is that Jose has said recently which has caused such a fuss?

4th May 2018 at 11:13 pm #21325I can’t help you gents on this one as in fairness to myself, I was purely having a conversation with Brian.
I have a fair bit emotionally to deal with at the mo, work/social type related to be needlessly involved in this, that I really don’t need to be involved in, in the first place.

4th May 2018 at 11:29 pm #21326AnonymousNo worries Nil, I guessed the OP wasnโt worth discussing so it was more a general Jose whinge. Fair enough, but not the forum for me. Canโt be bothered with yet another website that goes that way. All the best, but thatโs me done with the site.
Hope your work/social issue gets sorted Nil.

Agree with Alfie that thereโs nothing new thatโs provoked this question – when in fact the likes of Conte has more to say

5th May 2018 at 8:37 pm #21351Beni, Conte has been very quiet on transfer spending for a while now back in March he said the following::
Antonio Conte insists he does not envy Pep Guardiola after defending Manchester City’s right to spend their considerable cash reserves to dominate English football.
Chelsea will face City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday and Conte has been impressed with the business the Premier League leaders have done in the transfer market in the past few seasons.
In contrast, Conte has been critical of his own club’s transfer policy this season and his future at the club remains unclear going into the summer, but he is adamant he does not feel pangs of jealousy towards Guardiola.
“No, I don’t like people to envy the other person,” Conte said to reporters at Cobham Training Ground ahead of the game. “I don’t like the person that has this type of sentiment. I have great admiration because they found the right way to be strong for a long time, to have successful seasons for a long time, from now until I don’t know.
“There is a great coach, great players. And then there is the possibility to spend a lot of money and have the same ambition of the coach. This is the fantastic result for Manchester City. Manchester City is not the only club to spend a lot of money.
“The way they are spending money, especially the way I think the club is making Pep happy during the transfer market, to take the best choices for the coach, for the manager.
“There is only one situation very clear, that Manchester City will be stronger next season. Do you think it could be enough, to win again the title? [To not qualify for Europe?] If you think this, I think you are a dreamer.”
Conte was also asked his opinion on whether Chelsea spend money as well as City do in the transfer market.
“I don’t know,” he replied. “I didn’t spend money. The club spent money. I have great respect for every club to spend money. The decision with the money is for the clubs.”
Chelsea have been outspent by City for the past five seasons, while their Sunday opponents have also spent well over three times as much since both Guardiola and Conte arrived in the Premier League back in 2016.

5th May 2018 at 9:39 pm #21361Beni, did you read what Conte actually said? Here it is.
“I think that, in the league, you have 38 games to show you deserve to win the league, to show you are the best during the season,โ he said. โIn the Champions League, when you reach the last 16 or quarter-finals or semi-finals, one situation โ positive or negative โ can change your future in this competition. For this reason, I think that to win the Champions League you must be more lucky.
โYou must be good to deserve it, but at the same time you must be lucky. One referee’s decision can settle your future totally. In the league, over 38 games, usually the team who deserves to win it wins it.
โLuck is always important in every competition, but when you have the possibility to play 38 games you can show you are the best. In a little tournament, like the FA Cup or Carabao or Champions League or Europa League, sometimes one decision can move your future. Sometimes you are lucky or you are unlucky.
โBut Liverpool deserve to play in this final. They eliminated Manchester City and deserve to play the final.โ
I’m not sure there is anything there to get too upset about or too far away from the truth.

Come back and get posting, if not for me.
There’s always conversation I’m happy to share on Robbo and even Steve Bruce ๐
