Give it a rest Nil. Absolutely nothing to comment about my own team tonight. We’ve nothing to play for and won after another average performance. Liverpool are (were) in a title fight and the only side playing for anything of note tonight

24th April 2024 at 11:07 pm #214120Can’t take the emotion out of it, win lose or draw. Horrible Night and a Horrible ending to the season. Congratulations to either Arsenal or Manchester City. We’ll be 3rd, but ended more in a whimper than head held up high, sadly.

24th April 2024 at 11:12 pm #214121Well look on the bright side, at least we won’t miss out on the title by one point on the final day again. Every cloud and all that…

25th April 2024 at 5:54 am #214124Now it looks like the Prem are only getting 4 for the CL, how does the breakdown for the rest of Euro footy work out?

It was over minute we dropprd points at utd. Belief went then aswell as it was a huge chance to win there
Agree with carragher and tgreeps now abiut nunez. No were hood enough gor a team to challenge. His finishing is embarrassing and he needs to go.

25th April 2024 at 7:19 am #214126I also agree with neville. This team has over achieved this season.
I don’t expect any challenges for years now.

25th April 2024 at 8:12 am #214128🙁😰Anxiety unfortunately surfacing. Not slept too well thinking about this.
Just an awful defeat. The sooner this season’s over the better. The way things are at this moment in time, not looking forward to any of these remaining fixtures.
No real plan b, just same predictable football. Strikers cant even find the target. Big clear out needed this summer and of course a new Manager.

25th April 2024 at 8:34 am #214129Fuck me pool lads I understand it’s crap when fall away at the crucial time (we do it every season!) but the reaction or should we say complete overreaction from the base after and kind of loss is crazy

25th April 2024 at 8:41 am #214130If it’s the case that Klopp has had more and more say on transfers as time has gone on I’m afraid that doesn’t reflect well on him. With Edwards back next season we can hopefully reset and if it’s the case that Threeps alluded to that Slot will be happy to work with the transfer department as opposed to wanting more control then I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Whilst you obviously want the manager to have some input I don’t think such decisions can be made purely by one person. You have to have the experts making more of those decisions ideally with the trust of the manager. There were reports Klopp wasn’t sure about Salah when the club wanted to sign him. But if Nunez was a Klopp signing then that basically backs up this point. This can be a problem with long standing managers and as I say it’s good that the club has already got the structure back next season. I wonder if this has been causing tension in the club over the last few years?

25th April 2024 at 8:53 am #214131Buffy… you’re forgetting the Micky Mousers are a double special extra top secret society of people who have a special telepathic understanding of the glorious game that us mere mortals just don’t understand… 🙂 🙂 🙂
Anyway, you’re turn next week… 😉

25th April 2024 at 10:23 am #214133It’s definitely between the Gunners and the Sky Blues. I don’t think Man City this season have reached against their own previous levels, but for a Team winning successfully 3 Titles in succession (which in itself is a fantastic achievement and commendable), they have the experience to get over the line.
I think though as far as Arsenal go, if they beat Spurs and City slip up anywhere at Brighton and/or Forest, then it’s their Title.
I will accept 3rd now. We need a Reset. The one thing I’m wound up about still is the fact that it’s us to BLAME!!!! We Did This To Ourselves. We Should Accept Responsibility!!!
I rather for our 4 remaining games, we play players that will play with spirit, pride and give 100% Drop Van Dijk and Nunez!!!
Give me 12 points out of 12 points, finish 3rd and develop a Springboard that the New Manager can with Next Season.
Congrats in Advance too to both Arsenal and Man City. Liverpool on this Evidence Do Not Deserve The Title!

25th April 2024 at 9:44 pm #214135One the evidence of Tonight, Man City getting decisions their way. They’ve delivered though, when they needed to have done which is more than can be said for our lot.

Liverpool's title challenge and Klopp's farewell tour have come to an abrupt end – and it's all thanks to Everton.
Needless to say, Liverpool fans have taken it quite badly indeed…
Oh yes, it's a SPECIAL EDITION #LFC Fan Denial…
