Reffing was absolutely shocking but maybe all the talk of us getting dodgy calls has come back to haunt us.

30th January 2019 at 9:52 pm #32532Bastards!!!!! Hate Leicester because of Puel – hate him. Problem with us is that long wait of no Football.
Weather is Atrocious and I feel for our Boys, but it is Unfortunately what it is and we’re showing signs in lacking ‘second half quality’.

30th January 2019 at 10:00 pm #32538Good comeback by Spurs. 10 mins to go and they look catchable for that 3rd spot. Now, they’re all of a sudden bearing down on City for 2nd

30th January 2019 at 10:00 pm #32540Now if you had just lost 4 nil to Bournemouth you Livetpool lads would have something to
complain about!?A 7 point lead is obviously better than a 5 point lead but yesterday everyone would have expected both City and Liverpool to win and the gap would have remained at 4 points so Liverpool are actually one point better off than they would have been in that circumstance.
Liverpool looked nervous tonight probably in the knowledge that 7 points would have all but tied it up.
A 5 point lead just about leaves City in with a chance albeit a faint chance.
I thought it looked a pen for the foul on Keita perhaps a case of Refs being a bit wary of Liverpool penalty appeals given the highlighting of previous penalties given?

30th January 2019 at 10:01 pm #32541Soz Ed.
Really annoyed about Leicester – of all opposition to play us; they are bitter.
Once again, Soz Ed, just all in isolation.

30th January 2019 at 10:06 pm #32545Good comeback by Spurs they are nailed on for 3rd place imo especially when they get all their key players back.
Thought Maguire looked a good player tonight.

30th January 2019 at 10:06 pm #32546AnonymousDisappointed to not win but happy that we’re a point better off. We’re definitely in a blip though alright. It’s all down to Gomez for me. That defence was very very nervy tonight. I don’t think Van Dijk played particularly well in this or the Palace game. he needs someone more secure next to him. I don’t think Matip is up to it.
Agree that the ref probably didn’t give it because of the recent noise. We can thank Salah for not getting that penalty, in an indirect contrary kind of way.
Not the kind of performance/result of champions but I’m not going to be too critical.

30th January 2019 at 10:06 pm #32547Yeah 9, it’s funny how momentum works isn’t it? Had Liverpool just won to go 5 points clear, you’d really fancy them to go on and win it but them dropping two may give City the lift they need to keep the chase up.
Chelsea result surprised us all. How has Higuain looked? Not seen him at all but noticed he was taken off today for Giroud. Is he not match fit or just not settled in yet?

30th January 2019 at 10:09 pm #32548I’m not wounded up, I’m calm, but wounded up – now that won’t make any sense!
I don’t like Leicester when it comes to Liverpool purely due to my close relatives.
Hate Leicester anyway when it comes to Liverpool having sat in Filbert Street hating and being hostile onto Liverpool so I hate them, and so them re 2016 PL Title. They always hate on Liverpool.
A Bad game, but the ‘HYPE’ and build up hurts the most and that’s why in LIFE I NEVER GET CARRIED AWAY. Something’s just AROUND THE CORNER JINX.
We’re innocently on a journey through just routine. The Media are the ones lap in it up. We can’t always live up to expectations.

30th January 2019 at 10:09 pm #32549It’s amazing how much can change in 10 minutes!! Half expecting another 1-0 home defeat, Liverpool sneak and completely nail that coffin (To Dare Is To Do!), Chelsea sneak a draw and we’re panicking about CL football next year… then the footballing gods decide to cheer me up, you all know the rest!
Top 3 is suddenly looking good for my Spuds, home game against Newcastle next…

30th January 2019 at 10:09 pm #32550I blame nine for his positive predictions, never right when he predicts us to do well. As a matter of fact whenever I predict we do well we don’t either so I’ll just shut up as well :>))
Ref was obviously disgraceful but we haven’t helped ourselves with Salah diving so much in recent weeks so I’m guessing that played a part in us getting sh*t calls all game. We have been playing pretty ordinarily in recent games so it’s no surprise what so ever to drop points & I fully expect plenty more of these performances till seasons end. We simply don’t have the depth to compete over a full season & that will ultimately prove our undoing. Injuries are piling up & we can’t handle them. Hendo played well out of position & got exposed a few times, Keita just not up to scratch, I actually think he’s going to be a flop, front 3 not firing, we are basically out of form & can’t get it back. As I said we won’t be able to rely on c$ty dropping many more points so unless we find form fast, we will see the moneybags drift off into the distance as the season rolls on._____________________________
