Chucky, I thought you were a bit unlucky on Saturday and unfortunately caught Burnley on a bit of a run.
If Chelsea set up and play like they did v City they’ve got half a chance of winning it but I’m not convinced Sarri will do that or the players will have the legs to do that.

I thought my boys were pretty rubbish all round, maybe Burnley got a bit lucky with the first and undoubtedly Spuds were very sloppy with the second, but bloody hell, I think we created about 3 half chances in the whole bloody game!
The only “good” thing, is Trippier and Not Dirty Sanchez should be back, replacing Weirdy Beardy and the Penalty Kid… if Poncho goes for the same 3-4-1-2 formation, which I think he will.
Be lucky Dele isn’t playing, he always seems to score against you lot!

I get the feeling that Liverpool might have to win the next 11 games. Can we do it? It’s just too tall an order I think but if we can step up a gear then we can give ourselves a chance. Tonight is gonna be huge. Klopp apparently lost it in the dressing room after the last match. He was unhappy with Henderson and Mane. I wasn’t too pleased about Hendo refusing his handshake at the end of the game. You’ve got to wonder if he will drop him for tonight.
I mean, I wouldn’t if he apologized after. it’s understandable to some point that players can be upset about being taken off… However he is our captain and he’s there to set an example for the rest of the team. I won’t go on , as the Hendo debate is super contentious amongst Liverpool fans but I will say that I already thought Klopp would strip him of the arm-band this summer. I will say now that I’ll be stunned if this doesn’t happen.
Although I said I might not drop him for the incident, I would however drop him from the team, for tactical reasons but that’s another story.
I hope to see a midfield of Wijnaldum and Fabinho with Keita or Shaqiri ahead of them. Fabinho and Wijnaldum are the future of our midfield and the more we play them as a pair of 6’s, the better they will get.
I’m hoping to see an angry/hungry reaction tonight. I expect the lads to show some passion and determination. if they can’t at least do this then they have no right to be called title contenders and.. they have no right to play for this club.
