Loads of matches this week. Chelsea v Spurs the standout tie. Watford will not be a pushover for Liverpool.
Palace v Utd will be interesting. Especially with the injuries for Utd, can see Utd dropping points there.
ED – any reason why the Palace match is missing from the PL fixtures section? Are we that bad!?

25th February 2019 at 12:38 pm #34299Not had much joy in recent evening games. Hopefully Anfield raises the volume and we get our players playing high octane.
Hope shaqi starts for us – maybe Origi too if forming is out.

25th February 2019 at 1:07 pm #34300Considering United’s injuries Palace is a tricky game for them possibly a score draw?
Can only see a comfortable win for City, Liverpool might find it a bit more tricky v Watford but I think Liverpool will come away with all three points.
Chelsea having played 120 minutes of an intense Final will probably need to make changes v Spurs both teams need the points Chelsea probably more than Spurs now. Difficult one to predict.
Arsenal to squeeze past Bournemouth.

25th February 2019 at 1:14 pm #34301I wonder what team
Arrizzabaababalllagaa, I mean Sarri is going to pick??I wouldn’t worry about it too much Goldie, we’re all over the place and playing Spuds is like Viagra for your lot. I’d take a draw now if I’m honest, a nice crappy, boring, sloppy 0-0 draw, thank you very much and twice on Sundays.

25th February 2019 at 1:46 pm #34303I see the match officials for the Chelsea v Spurs game are being made based on Poch’s preferences.?

25th February 2019 at 1:50 pm #34304Alfie ?. TBH I don’t know. The fixtures are pulled in from a third party and there seems to be a bug every now and again when matches are rescheduled. So the problem now is that the fixture list always shows the next 10 matches. I set it at that and can obviously change it but it’s the most logical cut off point. But, because Chelsea’s match was rescheduled, it is included in the next 10 matches rule because it hasn’t been completed yet. Last time, it went away by itself so I’ll keep an eye on it and hope it does the same again. To summarise, blame Chelsea!

25th February 2019 at 2:59 pm #34314Sir Harry is off to City for Jesus and a 100m bottle tops!! If he had joined City last year-would have been on the verge of winning FOUR TROPHIES! Mind you,he can still win the CL this year with Spuds.

25th February 2019 at 3:02 pm #34316On another note, what was going on with Bale at the weekend and his reaction after scoring the penalty? I really really hope we stay well away from him. He just seems like a real loner in that side. Someone said the other day that he didn’t go to a club dinner because he wanted to be in bed by 11. He doesn’t speak a word of Spanish. He seems to thrive when he’s Billy big boots like in the Wales side but struggles when he’s not the star attraction. I think there’s a real ego hidden in there.

25th February 2019 at 3:49 pm #34318I think he’d be a risky buy for Spurs too. In the same way Ronaldo has gone to Juve and done well yet probably prevented the likes of Dybala and Co from continuing their development, I think Bale would have the same effect at Spurs where he would become the star attraction and do ok but take too much away from the likes of Kane and Alli.

25th February 2019 at 4:12 pm #34319Thing is, I think Spuds have been sussed a bit over the last 18 months or so in the Prem. Teams know how to play us now, everybody really sits back, even more than they did during the “burst out” year. I think they need to change it up a bit, a Bale or a Zaha is what we need (preferably a Zaha if I’m honest). I don’t think Bale would take too much away from the rest, I don’t think I’m being unfair when I say Spuds aren’t the most egotistical of teams, and if we lose one of the DESK boys (and Wee Erik is favourite to scarper, let’s be honest for a moment!), then I think a Bale/Zaha would be perfect replacement while changing the style a bit.
Still think our biggest “area” for room for approvement is a right FB/Wingback and a DM… but if Wee Erik does go…

25th February 2019 at 7:35 pm #34327As we are entering a new week, something come about locally in Rafa being linked to Leicester. It would be a good move for him potentially as Leicester do have money in the kitty and better players against Newcastle to work with.

25th February 2019 at 8:18 pm #34329AnonymousI had some notion that we were up against a weaker side. Watford… ****. Well, at least it’s at Anfield.
it’ll be interesting to see if Kepa starts for Chelsea. I wouldn’t have him training with the first team, nevermind starting but that’s me.

Not great from the Captain in the middle of a tight run in.
