As for Chelsea’s defence only can say nerve wrecking and overrated. I would say Alonso needs some game time at least he can score goals.

4th December 2019 at 10:01 pm #55482Should have been 5 or 4-3.
Just come out of a mini nap, this second half’s been a bore.

4th December 2019 at 10:38 pm #55490I’ve seen Everton in this type of position in the 90s and to my recollection on the last day of the season, they’ve escaped. Shouldn’t genuinely come to this. Unfortunately, the hand has to be forced for something to give and a change.

4th December 2019 at 10:42 pm #55491Prime generally, I have been happy with. It still feels more like an Internet Stream. The reason being, is that the Sky Box connected is through your natural Main Tv Aerial.
Can’t complain though.

4th December 2019 at 10:45 pm #55492Man Utd played pretty well in the bit I saw tonight. It seems they raise their game in the big games but struggle more against the rest.

4th December 2019 at 10:49 pm #55493Love the insight into Origi from Milner:
All is well on Planet Origi.

5th December 2019 at 1:47 am #55495AnonymousI just caught the extended highlights. There was so much of this game that I missed. Wow those goals were exceptional. It’s hard for teams to deal with us having such a passing range from the back. It’s not all about the trickery of the front lads. The combination is deadly and can unravel most teams, regardless of their approach.
I think we made it a little tougher on ourselves than we had to by letting in more goals, as always but we got another 3 points. Mane was incredible. Shaqiri needs more time. From now on, I hope Klopp trusts him to cover for the front 3 a bit more.

5th December 2019 at 6:58 am #55496That’s spot on Mikus. We’ve a very good record in the big games this season. Wouldn’t at all be surprised if we get something at City and then drop points at home to Everton the week after. I won’t be holding my breath for a result at City, mind!

5th December 2019 at 7:23 am #55497Utd have fast attackers that can counter, but against low block teams this is ineffective as there is no room. What they need is either clever central players that can move the ball quickly or attacking full backs that can overlap and overload with the winger against one side. When Utd signed Wan Bissaka I said although he is a very good defender he offers little going forward and asked if that’s the sort of player Utd need.

5th December 2019 at 7:38 am #55498what was more satisfying about our win last night was that it was made at Chelsea. the goals has been scored by two Chelsea academy graduates, the assists came courtesy of two Chelsea academy graduates, the win was masterminded by a Chelsea legend assisted by a former Chelsea player, and the technical director was also an ex Chelsea boy.

Origi frustrates me at times but heβs a loveable character
Two brilliant finishes and his all round play was excellent

5th December 2019 at 8:12 am #55502That was a much better Chelsea performance last night than v West Ham primarily because we could field a stronger side and we weren’t suffering from the demands of a tough away game in Valencia and not getting back to London until the early hours of Thursday morning.
Still need to be more clinical with our chances and defensively we will be a stronger unit with Rudiger back and having played himself in with a few games.
I get the impression Frank knows where he wants to strengthen once the transfer ban is lifted and he’s sitting on a very healthy transfer budget too but even if that happens in January he probably won’t be able to get the players he really wants in until the Summer.
If Chelsea fans are honest with themselves we’re probably playing better and in a better position than we thought we would be in at this stage under Frank given all the circumstances he’s had to deal with.
Going forwards I think things look very promising whether we make the top 4 this season or not.
