Mainoo is such a wonderful footballer. Just 18 years old too. Brilliant composure from him. Only watched from 80th minute as I was playing football so can’t comment on the ref decisions Alfie but I’ll take your word for it.

Watch the highlights Ed, absolute joke of a pen. Both legs way back before Casemiro even thinks about making a challenge, then there is clearly no contact whatsoever.

Two decisions last night for contact and VAR says not enough, they need to come out and explain the difference as it is a joke. And that is after we have won.

Yeah I reckon Mainoo could still make the Euros team Alfie. Nobody else has really nailed that 3rd midfielder spot alongside Bellingham and Rice.

Ye lad’s excellent prospect. Alfie, just what a terrible decision. Problem now is most decisions ref give, they stick with the onfield decision. Its a joke. The two chelsea pens are stone walls compared to that.

That was one special goal and resembles to somebody else down the years I’m sure I’ve seen but my memory escapes me. Well Balanced.

More to the point, I’m sure when I checked the scores online about 10 to 10, it said 3-1 United, then a little bit late I’m like “4-3”!

The Wolves guy dived. A win is a win and a much needed confidence booster. Quite surprised Rashford even played; if he didn’t the headlines would have escalated and more media headache unnecessary for ETH. Maybe the reverse psychology approach or simply the benefit of the doubt.

Ya, that wasn’t a penalty. Player isnt at all hampered by whatever contact was there.

This whole thing about VAR not stepping in unless there’s some grand mistake, rather than it just being the wrong result is awful.

If something is or isn’t a red or a penalty, or a goal, should be the sole purpose of VAR. The system probably should have been designed by referees, who really do seem to think that the game is all about them. They are so bloody precious that they are hampering the whole system in order to not hurt their feelings.
It’s a bit like what happens when you allow the police to investigate themselves.

I will reiterate my comments that there’s corruption involved and some form of spot fixing.

Casemiro gets booked within 2 minutes, yet similar challenges occured and no yellow. Paul Tierney gives a penalty for Wolves, yet has never given a penalty for similar challenges this season.
