Just reading that haaland has release clause of 200m euro that kicks in summer 24 only for foreign clubs. Apparently this is true and what was false was the report that it was a clause exclusive to real Madrid. Although Real would be favourites to trigger it if hasland was open to it.

Tell you what, the late mino raiola got his fair share of criticism but he really set this lads career up with these clauses and it looks to he continuing that way. He always seems capable of rising to a value exceeding the release clause!

Two things city fans can be sure of though, haaland is a serious pro and has a genuine affection for the club. As long as he is with them his head is only on city and the release clause means nothing unless he wants to move.

That is true Lucky, media trying to whip up a headline. Haaland will make up his mind in due course but the media will keep digging at this story now. After all the problems RM have had I wonder how they can raise that kind of money but they will find a way….eventually. The lad has settled very well in Manchester, he has a good club with good management and players around him `I am sure he will be smart enough to know that. I guess in football to day though, nothing is ever certain
