Rover, I watched roma vs juve and roma were just as good if not better, very unlucky to lose in fact they scored an equaliser but because ref blew whistle for a penalty split second before tammy put ball in net the goal wasn’t allowed and the pen was missed.

They look solid as a team and very direct and attacking when on the ball. They not the strongest of squads, Milan, inter, juve, napoli and arguably lazio and atalanta have better squads. They finish top 4 he will have done a hell of a job. They were 16 points off 4th place last season and currently 4th after 8 played.

I know what you mean to a degree rover but going on his previous jobs he done good far more than he done bad. Porto, Chelsea, inter, real and Chelsea again. 5 very successful jobs in a row at the elite level.

His spells at utd then spurs, also taking in to consideration the way it ended at Chelsea in second spell do raise concerns but imo if the roma board support him with everything they have he will provide them a team which exceeds the sum of its individual parts.

Odds against a league title considering the resources and squads of his opposition, but I think he will get them into champs league.
